Comment:

Eya is very enthusiastic and is fun to watch as he gives lectures, however, if you're not necessarily interested in biology, this class could get really difficult. He blows through information very fast and doesn't slow down or repeat things.. He seems to just remind people that he will be emailing everyone the slides. Plus the accent is tough.

He smells really bad, like its horrible. Letters were written. His quizzes and tests are hard. Hes hard to understand. He's actually kind of rude. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Dude is tough. Attendance is not mandatory, however he does give pop quizzes, and he does not give make-ups. Be prepared for many tests. He never wastes a minute in class. When your next test is on chapters 10 & 11, even before that test, he will move on to the next chapters without hesitation. If you have him, GO TO LAB. It will save your grade.

Dr. Eya is a beast!!! He's by far the best teacher I've EVER had. He does expect a lot & gives difficult exams, but he teaches the material very well & is enthusiastic. His class made me major in Biology. He helped me a lot during his office hours, too. The only people that don't like him are students that don't or aren't willing to try. Dr. Eya<3

Do not pay attention to the negative comments. The only people that do not like him are the ones that don't do the work and get a bad grade. He is a great professor that expects students to perform at a college level. You will definitely learn a lot from him and he is always available for additional help. Definitely would recommend!

He is my FAVORITE professor at WVSU! He is very knowledgeable in Biology and is so enthusiastic that it makes the students WANT to learn. He takes time to talk to you 1:1 before a test to see if you are ready or if you have questions.He is tough and has high standards for his class, but that is only because he is genuinely concerned 4 the students.

He is a very intelligent man, just seems to believe his research is more important than teaching. His tests aren't hard, they're just picky. As in, what did it say in the box on the side of page 152? This would be a great class, except Dr. Eya has a terrible attitude and has some very irrational behaviors. Save yourself and take another section.

He is a little hard to understand at first. You get used to it.. He talks really loud i think because he thinks we cant hear him when we really just cant understand him. His tests are crazy hard. He starts out with tests closed book but goes to take home test that average a C even the best students. tough. lots dropped the class.

Horible Man!!! If you want to Actually get a C or better you Must drop all of you classes and quit your job. I never had any trouble in Bio until I had him for a professor. Organic Chemistry is easier than this class. I changed my major because of him.

Dr. Eya is very passionate about his teaching. I had him last Fall 2007. I passed thank God. He does lighten up half way through the semester. He is very intelligent and he really does care about you. Just show up for class. Thats the only way he'll know that you are willing to learn and try.

I had him last fall for Zoology. He was hard at first but once the non serious students dropped, he lightened up. I think he is super intelligent, I was challenged, I learned a ton. I only got a B, but I certainly did earn it. I would love to take another class from him - it is never boring. If you are respectful to him he will give you extra help.

I took Dr. Eya's class in the fall of 2004. He was very hard but he was a great prof. I really learned alot from his class. And his English is better. If you take him be prepared to work hard the entire semester.

One of the worst profs. I've ever had. Arrogant and considers himself above everyone else. Goes out of way to make course difficult, I'm guessing in his feeble attempt to make everyone else appear stupid. He just makes himself as an instructor look poor.

Horrible! His English is poorly developed. Forget asking questions he will only laugh at you. He thinks American's are stupid and loves to exploit you. He has been complained on to no avail and remains a teacher. What is this a joke?
