Dr. Lee is awesome. As someone who has never considered themselves good at history, Dr. Lee made me feel like I was. He gets really into the lectures and makes them very interesting. He holds study sessions for the essays, and although he's a tough grader on the essays, he gives lots of feedback on how to fix for the next essay. Great professor!

Dr. Lee is an incredible professor, it seems like he genuinely cares so much about his students and their future success. I feel like he's a generous grader because some of the essays I wrote, that I wouldn't even give myself a 60, I scored a low 80. There is a lot of classroom participation and I advise you to take notes during his lectures!

Lee's HIST1301 class has got to be one of my favorite classes I have taken. The lectures are really engaging, so try to participate(for a grade). Highly recommend buying the textbook there is a lot of reading involved. Exams are essays, but he makes it clear what he requires from you. Put in the work & interest and he will recognize your efforts!

The textbook really helps, I recommend buying it. Make sure you read it too. This is not a multiple choice kind of class, this is an essay class. There are 2 formal essays, and 4 informal essays. I took him for honors, he's pretty cool but makes you work for the grade.

If you take him for honors and decide not to buy the book then you better pay attention to the power point presentations and take notes. Very difficult grader and does not give A's out easily. Even if you prepare/study and know the material, expect to get a B. Talk and participate during class and try not to let him catch you playing on your phone.

Makes lectures and materials very interesting. Participation is part of the grade. You must study for exams. Lots of writing. He is willing to help out students. The study sessions are great! They help tons for the test and counts towards extra credit. Many opportunities for extra credit and they count even past a 100 class grade.

Great professor! Will let you use a timeline for his tests INCLUDING THE FINAL, and is willing to help you out during his office hours. Great guy who seems hard at first but if you do the work (on time) he will help you out as much as you're willing to take. I took him for History 2321 and 2322, and if I could I would take him for other courses!

Dr. Lee is by far the best professor I have encountered. He is super laid back, and genuinely cares about his students. I'm not a big history fan, but he caught my interest. Go to class, pay attention, read the book, and you'll pass. You definitely won't forget him.

He's a great professor and his lectures make things easy to understand and remember, plus they're interesting. He wants the students to be involved in the conversation, which helps you retain the information. He really easy to talk to and helpful, plus he's always willing to answer questions about the class material or college in general.

Dr. Lee is very willing to help as long as you ask. He organizes study sessions for the students before each test. Power points are very helpful and can be used to guide you. He does require 3 papers, 3 test, and a final project. He's very engaging and extremely charming.

Very detailed when giving his lectures. I suggest write notes based off of what he says rather then the power points. Essay's are a huge pain but try to be as detailed as you can and he will give you credit. Come to class! He's awesome! Nice guy and not a tough grader

Took for World Civ I. Best thing about Dr. Lee is that he tells you what he want out of essays (2 mandaorty 1 optional) and tells you which questions will be on the test (3 and 1final) He's big on class participation and really engages with students. Lectures are interesting and he uses powerpoints as a guide which are available on aces all the tim

By far the best History Teacher I've ever had, and I've had plenty. He is always very helpful, cares about his students, and makes class interesting. I highly recommended to take him, I wish I took him for all my previous History courses!!! Yes, you have to write papers but as long as you try you'll do fine in his class.

Last professor who cares, was determined to tap into my mind on the last day, wish I would've used his resources before. Amazing man, great teacher, genuine good person. 4 papers; use your creativity when writing, 5 quizzes, lowest one is dropped. Very cultured, I looked forward to his class every time. History became an adventure through the past.
