Comment:

I took her because of a recommendation from a friend. However, I found myself having a hard time in her class because we were working on our own basically. And it was only one paper for the entire term. Make sure to stay organized because she will gather all your notes & the writing process must be shown and clear. Save every paper on the drive!!

Comment:

Shes easy to talk to, and thats about it. She basically only wants to talk about politics in class. She grades everything after finals. Its hard to know exactly what she wants, and its hard to read her handwriting. She cant teach very well as well; you kind of have to look up everything yourself. Her feedback is harsh and will laugh at you.

Comment:

Sullivan's strict about her standards, more than once I had to redo an assignment. She's very understanding and eager to help everyone succeed. And her class was engaging and funny. She's also makes sure everyone knows they can reach her outside of class and made every effort to be available. Be wary of her standards but I say take sign up!

Comment:

She's an okay professor. Her grading criteria is super unclear though because even if you revise your essay, she finds a way to mark you down. Make sure to put in a lot of effort in your essays. Essays aren't a lot of pages. I dreaded to know my grade in this class throughout the course. There were weekly quizzes, answers were specific textbook.

I did not enjoy this class and would never recommend it to other students. She was very rude and when I asked for help she never answered my questions leaving me puzzled. If you do take her class, good luck!

I took Sullivan last quarter for my English 101 teacher and never once did I pass any of her essays. She grades way to hard if she doesnt agree with your concept good luck. I am on my 5th week in English 102 with a different professor and my first paper I got a 97% and he told me the way I write is excellent. Good luck it you have Kimberly

she was nice at the beginning of the year than after my first paper it changed. Ive always been told Im a good writer ever since I did IB English in hs. Her views are not the same as mine which is what I think did it. Her feed back was always very rude! She told me my writing was a mockery to her, and to come back when I can actually write.

She is so good everyone like so good. Everyone enjoys her class trust me you will too. She is so sweet and. hilarious. Her essays are easy and she gives great feedback and chances to re due your essays, she is awesome.

Kim's tough. But, I learned a lot. Book is boring, look for details in it-- for canvas quizes. Very nice lady, wants you to learn and will help you.

Kimberly is a funny, and very caring professor. Easily the best instructor I've ever had. English/Writing used to be my most hated subject until I took her class; now it's my favorite. My writing skills are still far from perfect but they have improved so much since the start of the term. Looking forward to taking her ENG101 class next term!!

Prof Sullivan is amazing! I don't get why her rating is 3.9? But anyways some people take everything so serious. Anyways, she is so helpful, The whole quarter there are 3 essays they are easy peasy. Show up to class its very helpful wouldn't recommend to skip. But overall she's great and has an amazing personality. Taking her for Eng 101 next quart

She doesn't use canvas much. She doesn't reply email through canvas at all. She's picky in grading and her ideals are so complicate that would get people confused. She doesn't give much homeworks, that's a good thing.

I adore Prof. Sullivan! She was so kind and understanding. She was more than willing to work with students if they had questions or just needed some extra help/clarification. She was very amusing, relatable and easy to listen to. She had us write 3 papers during the quarter and was very involved in the writing process.

I haven't had a nicer teacher in all my years of learning. She teaches well. Gives great examples of what to do and not to do on essay's. She does talk politics a little too much in my opinion, but this is America and you gotta love her for speaking her mind. She's witty, humorous, and I can tell she has a big heart. She is a great instructor.
