Comment:
Dr. Reynolds was a great professor who truly cared about the topic being taught and whether we understood or not. It's not the easiest to study for the exams, but if you have paid attention in class and taken notes that note his important points/quotes, you will do great.

Dr. Reynolds is so inspirational! The readings didnt even seem like work because of how fun the concepts were! The workload was similar to any literature class, but I am so happy I took THIS class! English is not my major but this class is definitely in my top 3 favorites for my entire college career (4 years). He also cares that we learn. A+++!!!

Dr. Reynolds is a very knowledgeable professor who cares that students really think about the material rather than just memorize it. He facilitates in class discussions that help with understanding quiz and test material.

Taking him now and hes an awesome prof! He gives pop quizzes but if youre keeping up with the material theyre not difficult. He emphasizes what will be on exams and also gives reviews for them in class. There are materials you have to read before class since theres a lot of in class discussion. Overall I would take Prof Reynolds again!

Excellent professor! Very knowledgable and interesting classes. He GIVES you the material for the exams, you must take notes and read every assignment. Simple writing assignments, not long, not a tough grader. If you read, take notes, participate in discussions and study, you will have a lot of fun. I would definitely take this professor again.

He is the best English teacher I've ever had, far and away. He is engaging and thoughtful, and really made the material interesting. Lots of reading of course, and about 15 750 essays on stories, but he's a good teacher. Tests are not too bad.

To be honest he is one of the best professors at A&M. He gives test that are half ID's and half essays, but he give you a review before the exam. If you don't understand something or you have questions you can just contact him or go to his office hours. His exams come from lecture and the readings. YOU HAVE TO READ/PAY ATTENTION/TAKE NOTES!!!

Comment:
His tests are difficult as he only draw upon vague quotes from the books we read in class. The 'sample tests' he gives before the real test will not help you in any way. It feels impossible to study for any of his tests unless you memorize the books. I am an English major and find this class difficult.
