She is definitely my favorite professor. She is very nice, and her class was easy but very interesting at the same time. I changed my major to sociology after taking her intro class.

Comment:

Layne is an okay professor, she's friendly and the work is easy. The problem is course is very far left politically. An extra credit was telling people to sign a paper saying you're a feminist. Conservatives might want to look for another professor because it can get awkward. But, you'll pass any test on gender by choosing PC answers. An easy pass!

She is a great instructor. A very nice woman. If you pay attention to her lectures, take notes, and read out the text books you'll do well. Complete the reviews, and the tests will be easy. I also enjoyed the in class group projects, and absolutely DO NOT use your phone in class! I learned the hard way. But I had a great experience.

Layne is the nicest instructor and very helpful. She does a good job explaining things if you dont get it. She applies real life situations to what you are studying. Pay attention in class, she gives out great study guides for exams.

If you haven't taken one of Layne's classes you are missing out. She is very knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone who is working with children. You will walk out of her class a better person. If you pay attention and read you'll do just fine!

Instr. Mcadoo talks too much of her personal life she needs to focus more on the class. Wouldnt recommend her take anthr instructor who helps u learn. Plus she nvr uses the books.

Mrs. Mcadoo is GREAT! I took her class and was surprised on how great of a teacher she is! She explains to her students very thoroughly and her lectures are very interesting. I would recommend her to anyone taking a Sociology class as I learn a lot and wouldn't mind taking her again! VERY UNDERRATED teacher! A++

She is a wonderful teacher, her class is so beneficial and it changed everything for me in Sociology. You do need to attend her classes though, and simply pay attention in class because her exams are based exactly off the reading. recommend her ALL the way.

Layne is awesome! Shes very down to earth and good humored. She is always up for a good debate and is always happy to answer questions. She offers plenty of extra credit options through games and such. Don't be discouraged by her long tests; most of them are quite easy since she gives out study guides listing everything that is on the test.

Would highly recommend Dr McAdoo if you want to learn a thing or two about sociolgy. She recommends to read the chapters 3 times, but I managed to do just fine on reading them once. The summaries at the end are very helpful.

join the smile and nod club; she is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge. there can be a lot of reading and taking good notes is important. she has some really fun in class activities and the films are interesting. great intro to sociology class= also if you miss a class you miss a lot and need to make sure you get notes from classmates!!
