She is a little disorganized and slow, but she is fine. I like her lectures and labs, but her tests and quizes are not easy. Need to work hard. Gives difficult study guides and not answers. But you can schedule a time to talk about it with her.

Super nice lady. But we do not come here to make friends with teachers. Very misleading. Her lectures look super easy. But test questions ask to decide between details that she did not cover, from a book she did not require. That is why no one wants to take a class from her a second time. Probably have to drop to avoid a C.

Nice lady. She can be a little spacey but just talk to her and your classmates to clarify anything. Nice overlap with Bio210B. Two main big projects and the usual tests for lab and lecture. Make sure you at the least get the notes from lecture and you have to go to lab. Keep up on the study guide and take advantage of extra credit opportunities.

Picture a home after being destroyed by a tornado. That home would still be 100 times more organized than Professor Seiger. Maybe her study guides would bring some clarity to what to expect on the tests? Wrong! They were more like trying to read a Bible written in Latin. About as qualified to teach as Cameron Diaz in Bad Teacher, minus the laughs

Awful. Very unorganized, continuously goes off topic. Never has papers graded. Entire semester grade based off of few assignments. No direction during labs. Nice professor but would advise to take literally ANY other class...

Very disorganized. Often forgets to email hw, study material, hand back papers unless reminded. Tests are hard if you want an A. Does not review in class. You fill out the study guide, she does not give answers to it. Questions tricky. You must learn concept and be ready for any question. Note EVERYTHING she says. Class will likely frustrate you.

Professor Seiger is super nice and understanding. Willing to help people to understand. Sometimes lectures can be boring but ALWAYS take notes on everything she writes down. A little disorganized when it comes to timely grading. Do the homework, about 5 minutes. Exams look like study guide which is directly from your notes. Easy A with some effort.

Absolute worst class/teacher I've ever had. Ms. Seiger is terribly unorganized, has poor communication skills, and teaches her class as if it were in elementary school. It is an extremely easy class and you can get a good grade no prob, but if you are taking the class to learn and be treated with equality and respect, I recommend another teacher.

Great professor and easy to understand. Sometimes takes a while to return tests. She always has some sort of story to tell and is enthusiastic about teaching. Some people might think she's unclear about subjects but she was clear for me. Would definitely recommend.

Took her for bio lab. It's true she is unorganized & takes long to show you your grades & graded work.BUT she loves biology, is kind, knows her stuff.the lab tests were from Q's in the report & terms & concepts. Just actually study maybe & you do fine. PS.haven't been to school in 9 years, got an A.

This is the first time I have have written a negative complaint about any staff at SDCCD. Where to begin? Her class time is managed poorly, lectures are disorganized, she frequently forgets to hang back assignments. Worst teaching experience I have had by far. Everything on the test is in the notes, so take notes to pass. Got a B in the class.

Professors organize/structure their material differently from one another. She was NOT unorganized because she thoroughly covers material for the entire class in case anyone misunderstood an assignment. Read your assignments, go to class and get help when needed. She's sweet, helpful and genuinely cares about her students. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

I had the botany class with her.. She is so disorganized that even she herself doesn't know what she had already talked or not. You might find some questions in the test that she did not even go through. Your best shot is the book. I got a B in her class but worked really hard for it. If you have any other choices stick with them NOT HER!

There were four exams, and they were hard because exams were far-and-in-between. Each exam covered about six chapters, composing of multiple choice and short answer. The required book was outstanding, and the exams were based very closely on it. I studied like there was no daylight and squeaked by with a solid "B." I gave the professor a "C" grade.

Prof. Seiger is Biology nerd also teaching at SDSU, and you have be prepared for it. Don't expect to get everything handed out to you for the test. Her lecture is about the subject and can be very interesting, cool field trips and movies. But it's you're responsibility to study. use the books! and make the lab assignments and you'll do well.

I took this class and barely got away with a C. Most boring course in the world. I noticed it was because of the professor who was teaching it. I remember when we had a sub one day, that was the only day I was actually interested. And she sucks at grading. Too many mistakes.
