Comment:

Lisa Church is very clear about what is on her exams + how she grades, in this particular course I didn't find it difficult but she has a few topics in class that intricate. There's no homework, you do in class problems after an hour of lecture. She is a very understanding and an overall great person, not many Professors are as personable as her!

She gives power points and does practice questions before lecturing you to introduce the material first. She gives a cheat sheet before each exam and gives you extra credit opportunities. 3 exams multiple choice non cumulative and 1 essay. She scales the exams too. A little all over the place but I do recommend her.

She is such an amazing professor, she made Managerial Accounting something I could really understand, and has very good lectures. She cares about each of her students and really wants everyone to succeed. Gives you a cheat sheet for every exam, and none are cumulative. Attendance is mandatory but she is very flexible with your schedule. Take her!

Accounting 201 no homeworks just 3 exams all easy she goes over everything the class before and lets you bring in a cheat sheet for the exam soo easy just go to class take notes and copy your notes on the cheat sheet for the exam and guaranteed an A

Professor Church is a really great lady. Took her for Taxation class this summer. Had a quiz for every chapter like 10 questions Easy! Did two papers one was for the final. We also had homework but she goes over it in class and did not collect it. I don't know if it would be the same if you take her in the fall but I totally recommend her.

Taxation sucks but she makes it super easy to understand! She only teaches it during the summer! So def talk to your financial Aid advisor so you can take it then. Best class ever with her! No hw and only 3 assignments that she goes over with you. Multiple choice quizzes & she allows cheat sheets. Even gave some for take home! Also gives extensions

Amazing. Super easy. I hate taxation but she is so helpful by going over the tax forms in class with you including the project. There's a few quizzes during the summer course (which is better to take then); and she goes over what is on the quiz and allows a cheat sheet for every quiz. Quizzes are multiple choice & about 10 questions.

Attendance not mando just email her or make a friend in class for missed notes. She cancels a lot of classes but will email you ahead of time. She only gives 3 exams that are take home/ open book. No homework unless you want to practice (up to you). Book barely used and one essay that's due by the end of the semester. (3-5pages double spaced).

Study chapter terms and do the homework!!! She does not collect or look at the homework, but if you do the homework the exams are easy. She uses homework problems as questions on exam. She's really straight forward, gives extra credit, and likes when you ask questions.

I have taken Lisa Church for Acct 201, 202, and 331 and she is my adviser. If you want an easy A, or are actually interested in accounting, take her. She pulls from real life examples, and is knowledgeable. You can use a half sheet of paper front and back for tests. She is a little disorganized, but super helpful if you're confused!

If you're taking accounting take her! She actually cares about her students and tries to make everything as easy as possible. The only draw back is that she moves along really fast, but as long as you tell her to further explain, she'll slow down.

TAKE HER!!!!!!!Great professor, very helpful and approachable. She will try her best to help you pass if apply the effort. Gives alot of extra credit(like attending the career fair or going to get a resume done) she is by far the best..if only prof blais could learn from her :/

make sure you have the book in class. no homework, about 4 exams, 2 papers. the clarity of the exams was AWFUL. she was always late! i was an accounting major, i took this class, and now i HATE it because of her. i mean i did fine, but i want to enjoy going to class. if you take her, GOOD LUCK!

Taxes is easily the worst class every and Church made it semi-enjoyable. She is the nicest lady ever and will really help you pass and do good. Take Church for every class possible!

Easy, but very good teacher. Fair grader. Does come in late often but she gets right to teaching and you learn without having to drive yourself insane with accounting work. Very nice way to finish off accounting for non-accounting majors. Highly recommended, just pay attention and do your work! I got a B in Acct 201, and an A with Church!

Awful teacher, always late and disorganized...takes forever to do ANYTHING....treats people like children....and any little thing that happens throws her off track so easily...i would never recommend her to anyone
