first of all, why does she give the lecture AFTER WE HAD JUST TAKEN THE QUIZ ON IT. like you need the lecture to supplement the reading. it's an intro class it shouldn't be this difficult. she needs to learn how to tone it down for this because it's not her 300-400 level classes. it's stupid and makes no sense at all

I loved this class. A lot of reading and writing but it was interesting stuff. One research paper-4 other application papers, quizzes and discussion. Discussions are detailed.

By far the worst professor I've ever had at Ramapo all 4 years. Every grade was through group projects, and I got stuck with a bunch of lazy kids who submitted half assed work. When my grades suffered ( my tests averaging hi A's and group work all B's) I went to her office to talk and she told me to leave and refused to talk. Worst. Ever.

Amazing professor! Extremely organized and intelligent. Very effective at communicating information to students and turning difficult material into something comprehensible. Prof. Perez was really nice! She made the class really interesting with her personality and stories about her family. Used the textbooks a lot. Huge paper due at the end, team project, and a few individual small papers. minimal homework just make sure to do the readings. I recommend taking her!!

Research Methods and Data Analysis was easy with Prof. Perez Strumolo teaching it. She made everything understandable, but you need to work, it's not easy subject manner. Great teacher, really funny too.

She can be a pretty tough grader, moreso on the exams. Be careful with those, she's VERY picky about details. Otherwise she's a very good prof. Makes a class that could be impossible seem easy... and I think the actual papers are graded a lot easier than the exams. Very nice/funny/helpful. But don't take if you plan to slack off. You won't pass.

Unfortunately also grades really tough. Like 65% of my class you'll go through a review session thinking "i've got this" then score lower than you expected on an exam. I like how she doesnt enforce the attendance policy. And she's also really nice. If it weren't for her tough grading I would take her again because she is HOT

I dont know how anyone could not like her. She's so sweet. She assigned a paper with a due date and one person asked to push the date back and she said "doesn't matter to me when its due", and pushed it back two more weeks. she's very understanding and nice. Talks about her family the entire class which makes it more interesting then just facts

The last two comments are ridiculous. Prof. Perez is the best! In case you forgot, we VOTED to move up the test. Plus, we've been working on proposals since the class started. Take her. If you are willing to do the work you're guaranteed to learn A LOT.

yep i feel the same way! she rushed us to finish our proposals and wasn't helpful at all. didn't give any helpful feedback and when students said they were stressed she basically didn't care. it's almost like she wanted us to do bad. cared more about rushing than making sure students learned. i wouldn't take her again.

I feel very mislead. I took her this semester and she totally dropped the ball. At the last minute she changed our exam date so we only had three days to study for it. She missed three classes and said, "Don't expect me to be anymore lenient just because I missed class". Scatterbrained and hard to understand. Don't take her!!!!

One of the best professors I've had here at ramapo. Very caring and truly wants students to learn. I have learned so much from her class already and it's only the middle of the semester. If you get the opportunity, definitely take her class. She is THE best!
