Comment:

Very good professor and awesome guy. He's a great mentor and very trustworthy. If you work through his class you will do well, if you fail...lets face it you should probably give up on school. I've read the negative comments and I can't find cause. This is my 4th class with this professor and he is awesome.

This guy is a moron. Some of his "ideas" from previous years in the police force may not work in modern day and he THINKS it will... He's complete nutjob. He caused WAY more stress then was needed for this class. His tests are IMPOSSIBLE and he doesn't listen to you. If you say something he doesn't agree with, then it's wrong. DON'T TAKE HIM!!!!!!!

He needs to know when to call it quits. He has no idea what's going on half the time. He got angry at our class for not turning in a paper when the syllabus said it wasn't due until the next week. He also didn't explain what he wanted for our presentations. He was a very easy grader, but his class caused more stress than any other that semester

I almost never say this about teachers, but this guy has to retire. His assignments are impossible and make no sense. He asks questions that he thinks are genius, but nobody else understands. He even forgot what his own syllabus said. He's not a bad person, but he is a horrible professor.

besides the fact that i have to listen to his boring monotonic voice, i have to listen to his stupid comments & jokes. he drags on & on his tests are rediculous u need to read the book with a magnifying glass cause everything is game for the test. there is an unnessesary amount of work for an elective... never ever ever take this class. the end.

Probably the most boring teacher i've ever encountered. I had him for crime control and it was so repetive. I withdrew beacuse he was making us do 4 projects and a 10 page field assignment. I would never do that much work for a dumb elective.

he treated this class as if it was a required course...Its a freakin elective!!! lectures are sooo boring, if you dont read you will fail the tests, and he gives a field assignment along with a 10 page paper and presentation on it...AVOID HIM...

I never understood his comment "It's not the money, it's the money" until years later. How true it is. At the time I didnt think I was learning as much as I could have. Looking back, I think I learned far more than I thought.

Pre-Internship as a full semester course seems to be a waste. The resumes, cover letters, oral board, talking about ethics/integrity and even 1 or 2 of the reaction papers were a good idea, but some of the stuff in between was boring.

Only take this class if you're a Buddhist monk, you'll need a lot of patience. He has discussion questions assigned for EVERY class and his lectures are painfully boring. Too many war stories. His exams and papers are horrible.
