She is the nicest, sweetest lady I've ever encountered. She is so patient. Her class was kinda boring and slow, but you need to show up bc she cares about attendance. Only assigns 2 papers, a midterm, and final, which are all easy bc she puts a huge study guide on BlackBoard. You don't need to actually read the books, just read Sparknotes

Very sweet lady. Class is super boring. Basically spoon feeds the answers. Use sparknotes,you don't have to read. Very fair. If you can force yourself to show up, pay a little attention, and speak up in class, expect an A.

I took her English class at PSU Abington. At first she seemed nice, but she was very inconsistent with her moods. I think she's bipolar or something. Easy class for the most part except dealing with her was a little difficult. We got into arguments frequently.

Oy vey. She's absent-minded, but not in the usual "stuck in a brilliant mind" way. She's far from brilliant. She's incapable, does not give fair final grades, and changes the syllabus almost every week. Don't buy any books until a few days before the scheduled reading- you'll waste $. As a serious English student, I was very disappointed.

Finn took role every class, and gave a quiz each class on the chapters to be read for the day. If you were late by a few minutes, you couldn't re-take the quiz. I felt like the course work was all busy work. And lecture was the most boring experience in my life. If you hate horrible teachers who talk constantly and give busy work..do not take her!!

She really cares about her students and their writing, that's obvious. She'll give you lots of help. Attendance is MANDATORY. Class usually consists of an easy quiz and then delving into whatever text we're on. There are several texts required, but most are $10. She seems a little politically biased in her discussions. Overall, a good professor.

This teacher I will admit is so unorganized. Never keeps with the syllubus. But it dont matter, this is a easy Lit class. Shel try to scare you with quizzes, but they r cake, the tests are the easy as pie. The papers she grades a lit tougher, but a very fair grader. She does bring out some interesting points in the stories to keep you interested.

A headcase. I felt like I was in kindergarten from the way she spoke to us and she kept changing her mind about everything week by week. I don't mean to psychoanalyze someone, but this woman does not seem entirely stable and really shouldn't be teaching a college class.

Ground control to Finn... you are a total s**t wreck. Total space case, never prepared for class, critical approach to Lit. was very surface/ childish. I averaged 94 for essays and 95 on final and got a B+ b/c she decided to arbitrarily assign me a 40%!! for class participation. Lectures far from enlightening.
