This guy doea not help students at all. He will state his opinion and that is what it is. He will not tell you why he graded you the way he did and will not tell you what was wrong with an answer. Do everything you can to take another class without him.

Very tough grader. Discussions are basically him telling your opinion on ethics is wrong. I decided to retake the course with another teacher after withdrawing. Midterm is 5 questions and all essays.

Dr. Price is a tough but fair grader who has much to offer on the topic of ethics and participates in discussions regularly. He encourages you to think outside the box and expand your understanding. This required class is a great experience with an involved instructor - work hard and enjoy the experience!

Tough grader. All discussion posts are worth 2 points so you either get a 50% or 100%. The whole class is him talking. There is no structure at all.

By far the worst professor I've ever had. He could care less how well you know the material; you must have the same exact conclusions based on that material as he does, or he will take a ludicrous amount of points off.

Expects you to understand the course without being able to reply to other classmates discussion questions. Half the grade is discussion questions and the other half is midterm and final, which consists of short answer essays based off the discussion questions that you cannot reply to.

I have his Ethics class as of right now and I think he does a very nice job explaining in easier terms what the books are trying to say that we read in his class. For Ethics, we have 4 tests throughout the entire semester and as long as you take good notes, study hard, and make sure you understand the material then you should do fine in his class.

Dr. Price has a very particular sense of humor which is the sole reason I show up to his classes. He gives the study guides for all four tests in the syllabus - just make sure your answers are solid. Class discussions are great especially if you find the reading material too dense. Don't let the lack of an attendance policy get the best of you.

Material taught is irrelivant and this guy is pompous! RCQ's are supposed to be used as notes for the mid-tem and final- yet he clarifies nothing. If your answers don't live up to his OPINION, he will humiliate you on the discussion board. Be careful if you have to take his class, please, for your own sanity? Choose ANYONE else ...

No book; all readings are academic papers through library. Read and comprehend carefully; grades fairly if you do the work. Pay close attention to the weekly feedback and the examples he provides. A hard class but I learned a lot.

Dr. Price is one of the most knowledgeable professors I had in college. His tests are difficult, but not unconquerable. They require studying and critical thought. His lectures are interesting and the subject matter is thought-provoking. Attend class, take rigorous notes, spend several hours preparing for each exam, and you'll pass.

I took more than one class with this professor and did horrible in both. He teaches at an easy level but it does not prepare you for his insanely hard tests. Papers are impossible and he only wants you yo regurgitate his opinions. Points only come from tests so if you don't understand perfectly you won't know until you've failed and can't recover.

I had to withdraw from this class in week six. I have had a 4.0 my entire time at college and by week six I was failing this class. You only have 100 pts to work with for the quarter and 50 of those are the mid/final. There is no way to recover if you have bad test scores. READ THE OTHER POST! WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN!

This professor is terrible. Everyone in our class failed but 5 people. The Final had to be word for word from the book seemed like, and he offered zero help on homework. He even would make you feel stupid just for asking for assistance. You can go into it with a B and still fail the course after the final.

I agree with everyone else. You have to know the material word for word. Pay attention to the comments he writes each week. Those are the answers he is looking for.

I read that somebody else failed his final but did well on the homework. This is what happened to me. This teacher is completely ridiculous. You know your homework and you know the test, yet, it's not good enough for him. He is a horrible human being and teacher. Good luck.

Comment:
I took this class twice, because the first time I got all As and Bs on the homework, but somehow failed the final. Guess what? I did the second time, too. The final shouldn't be so hard for an intro class and he teaches things that are taught in a much later class... thus not an intro.
