Save you self by not taking any form of economics from this woman. Her tests are hard as hell, she has terrible handwriting, and she sounds like Foghorn Leghorn. It's November and literally half the people in this class have dropped it already.

Mrs. Hoffler was AWESOME! She loves her students. She is as helpful as one could possibly want, and makes the class fun and interactive. I would recommend her to anyone--if you have to take ECON, she is the ONLY teacher to take!

Sweet lady! She is a great teacher, easy to listen to, no tricks here. Just do the assignments and come to class. Great economic mind. I was in a huge class and spoke to her face to face a few times and fealt that she knew me... I'd take her again if I could.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but you should go to class every day because she does 5 point daily notecard quizzes. Don't forget the Aplia assignments. The tests are fairly difficult and you have to study, but Mrs Hofler is very nice and extremely helpful. I'd recommend taking econ with her, but the class won't be an easy A.

Got an A. I liked having the Aplia (online) assignments and the daily quizzes because they helped you practice and keep up to date. So when tests came around you really just had to match your notes to the book and study that and understand the concepts and you were good to go. I liked her because she explained the concepts very clearly.

Her class isn't hard if you go to class or read the book. The tests are multiple choice for the most part. Just do your work and do the online applia assignments.

Not a hard class at all if you pay attention and due the assignments. Gives daily quizzes so attending class is crucial. Curves a little bit, but honestly its not needed, because the test are not difficult. Her penmanship is a little rough but she will verbally explain things, if you ask.

This lady could care less about you! She doesnt explain concepts clearly and is not always available durring office hours. She gives daily quizs and online assingments with random due dates (the only way to know when they're due is by going to check EVERYDAY). She offers a curve, but it isnt much. DONT TAKE HER IF YOUR NOT A GENIUS IN ECOOMICS!!

I don't think it is possible to read what she writes on the overhead. Her handwriting is really hard to see. She goes quickly and doesn't clarify much. She asks after everything if everyone understands but it is so bunched up everyone is like what... She knows what she is talking about just has a hard time teaching it. Makes the exams a lot harder.

Good teacher but grading is harsh. I got 4 questions wrong on a test out of 40 and i got a b.. i came to class every day and understood everything but im still gonna get a b for the class. She does these flash card things at the begining of every class to "help" the grade but i think in the end it mostly hurt my grade.

i had her for 2 semesters, she's a great teacher. she tries to compare things to the "real life." she does this "flash card" thing befor lecture so get there on time. other than that, she's a great teacher.

Gives extra credit and plenty of study sessions. But she expects everyone to get it quickly and not too helpful at office hours. Very professional and approachable, but comes across stuck up and sometimes rude. Use the test bank in library to help you. tests are hard even if you study a lot.

Ms. Holfer was a very good professor. She always provides opportunities for you to get help with extra study sessions and office hours. You still have to study but I think she makes the material understandable. Oh... yea... dont fall behind or you'll never be able to catch up 8-(
