Comment:

She expects students to show up to class and read the course material from the book before class. She gives in class notes and recommends the study guide from the bookstore. It is very helpful. Requires studing seeing as she is a Lawyer and this is a law class. Great class to take if you are interested in law after college.

Extremely sweet person, very helpful, can explain things very well. Unfortunately you DO have to READ the book to pass the class, so be prepared to read and STUDY often! Great woman :)

Please stay away from this class for your own good. Take all the good comments here with a grain of salt. The grading is obnoxius along with her teaching style. Im not a ticked student that dropped either. Im passing with a C which is like a A in her mind. Learn from my mistake and switch.

Worst teacher I have had in years. Worthless grading system. She starts you out with an F and you have to try and work your way up. It seems like she wants you to fail her class. She says things like "If you got a 10/20 your doin good". Dont take this class....

Great teacher. She teaches a tough subject, but if you study, you can make the grade. She gives easy points for visiting her GA and for games we played in class. She helps us with lots of handouts. She nominates students for awards and helps us get internships. Dr. Johnson goes out of her way to help those who want to learn.

Dr. Johnson is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She won the Educator of the Year award because she is the best. Those who have a bad attitude are the ones that complain. If you study and follow directions, you will learn a lot and get a good great.

I would not recommend taking this teacher, her tests are really hard and she gives you last minute homework assignments. I think she goes over the material well, there is just TOO much to study. Studying a whole week in advance still wouldnt have gotten me an a on tests, THANK god she gave us some points!

If you have her, find another teacher, it's plain and simple. You will not like her, nobody does, she's snotty and grades extremely hard. What makes me not like her the most is the fact that she ALWAYS hands on in-class assignment with 2 minutes left in class, and you're stuck there 20 minutes after class should be out. Total BS..

OMG! Very difficult randomly has you do stuff thats not on the syllabus outside of class and expects you to be there. Tests are pretty hard. get the study guide. avoid her

Over all, I liked her pretty well. Her tests were hard because I never knew what to study for them. I studied for three days before the tests for about 2 hours each, and always got a grade in the 70's. If you're good at applying concepts, the tests will be easier for you then they were for me. I'm good at memorizing things.

Super rigid grading! Doesn't like to be questioned either so don't both trying to argue your point.Lectures are really simplistic and clear but tend to get repetitive an boring. Mandatory attendance and seating chart. Mediocre at best.

This is the best professor I every had. Law is not an easy course, but she gives clear lectures and handouts to help you. She does care about her students. If you are lazy and don't study, you won't like her, but if you study you will learn alot from her.

Dr. Johnson is a very understanding and compassionate lady. My father was very ill and ended up passing while I was in her class, she was very helpful during that time. I will take any of her classes again if possible!

She comes off horrible at first but really isn't that bad. Just don't piss her off or argue. She used to be a lawyer, you won't win. I think she is very clear about what you need to know for the test and gives you plenty time to prepare. I was scared of taking her at first but she really is a good teacher once you learn to ignore her attitude.

This is the worst professor I've ever had. HORRIBLE! You might as well go into class, bend over, and grap your ankles. Hardly any points given out. She does not help you what so ever. Loves to make you feel little and stupid. Doesn't give a damn about any of her students or their feeling. Does know her stuff though. Someone smack that Grin!
