Ms Hunter is a nice lady. I like her teaching style...which is different from anyone else's. She's energetic and passionate which made for an easy class. She had to take FMLA, for whatever reason, but forgot to tell us! I hope to take her Comp II class..we'll see if she shows!

good teacher at first. extremely interested in your opinion, likes to talk and drift off a lot. for some reason she bailed in the middle of the year with out word. stopped showing up to class, no email respond. but the start of class she was very attentive to your needs.

While most teachers are mono tone and boring, Miss Hunter's class you might want to bring popcorn for. She is a fun and always energetic teacher. Some time you may need to tell her to talk slower though. I enjoyed her class. Even though she is tough on her essay assignments, you will have fun and learn alot.

Well, I think she's great. She demands that you write well, but I didn't find anything unfair about her expectations. Her expectations are appropriate for a college level, which expects that you applied yourself in K-12, or at least 9-12.

Her grading criteria is too high and basically if you do not sound and write like her you won't get a good grade on a paper. Her sense of writing is too hard to comprehend for a 1st yr student.She is very liberal and shows it all the time, which gets annoying.

I do not recommend her class. Yes, she is very intelligent and knows what she is talking about, but the topics she picks are too awkward. Not everybody is interested in globalization problems, fast food industries, or The Simpsons. And she makes you write huge essay papers over these things, for which you might not know anything about.

Probably one of the best teachers I have ever taken. Totally changed my mindset on what I consider worthwhile literature. I took her for both Brit. Lit classes. If you are motivated and do your best to do the work outside of class you should earn a B. She expects you to do your part but her expectations aren't ridiculous , just do your reading.

Prof. Melanie Hunter ROCKS. She's difficult, I have never had to work so hard for an A in English in my life, but it was worth it. She loves what she does and her love is infectious. You do need to be prepared for class by reading, participate in class, and do the work, but if you're confused, she's great at clearing it up.

Melanie's class was challenging for me, but she helped me out a lot when i wasnt understanding assignments. It's a tough class with a lot of work, but if you don't procrastinate constantly you will do fine in her class. She's a great instructor!!

i loved this class. she teaches the subject real well. she makes it interesting and makes you want to come to class. she says attend. is mandatory, but if you get on her good side she wont say anything to you. i highly recomend her!

one of the BEST professors ever. VERY intelligent, helpful, and nice. She's very friendly, and its always willing to help. I enjoyed her class very much, and she kept us so entertained with the subject. she is not a "slide through easy grade" teacher, though, but she helps the students learn. she is a must take teacher. i highly recommend her.

Ms. Hunter was by far y most influencial teacher at TCC. She focuses her Comp II Class on the ethics of globalization. I enjoyed the readings and assignments, but it's not an easy A. If you want to learn something both adacdemic and social then take this class! If you want and easy A, then consider droping.

Honors British Lit. to 1800. Melanie is Absolutely Hilarious! This class was was not a cake walk, but tremendously interesting and I learned loads. Let me stress that you will work hard, however, you can manage the work load if you keep up with the reading and do not procrastinate in getting assignments done. Loved every minute of it! To the rater below, "I did work my butt off and I did receive that A."

Ms. Hunter is one of my favorite professors. Her class is very informative and can have some really good discussion. The class is definitely not a blow off though. I had to work harder in her class than any of my others. But it was worth the effort.

Melanie is probably one of the best teachers at TCC - available and informative - fascinated with the Brit Lit subject and somehow transfers that love of lit to the class. Several projects, but there is plenty of time to complete if you are not a procrastinator - Need to be in class- or trust your friends note taking abilities.

Melanie is a wonderful person and a great English professor. This is not a subject that I ever thought I could be interested in, but she brings the characters to life. Her enthusiasm is infectious. If all english teachers were like her, the world would be a much better place.
