Expect to teach yourself from a recorded lecture because he won't teach you anything. He talks nonsense about how much he hates his wife and how much he hates teaching at Cal State Bakersfield (Low Payroll). He also said: "I Don't Mind Making a Thousand Dollar Here and There." Way seeks bribery. Do not waste your time and money.

Mike Way provides good lectures. He explains concepts based on real world examples which can get off topic but it makes you truly understand the application of the concepts. He also throws in a few jokes which helps keep the class energized. The homework is easy, the BB videos really help as well. The exams are based on lectures and class examples

While taking his class I had to teach myself everything because he does not make anything clear to students. Many of the people in my class were struggling to even pass. All homework assignments were hard to get a good grade on. I tried to talk to him and he was able to explain a lot, but only after giving out the grades. No clear expectations.

This teacher did not teach me anything throughout the semester. Then once we had to move online everything got ten times worse because he gave minimal to no instruction on lessons or how to do assignments. This teacher gave good feedback, that however never helped for future assignments, and was unclear what was expected withthefinalprojectworth60%

He is a great professor. However, due to some difficulties with his health, he was unable to teach at his best. Make sure to attend lectures and take notes by following the excel sheets provided. Do not really need the book so focus on the lectures. Test are graded in a way that allows you to get the maximum points even if you fail in one section.

Do not take this professor. He is knows his stuff but goes beyond what is in the textbook. His exams are HARD, the homework is also difficult and you can not reference the homework. Way teaches MGMT 3020 from a professors stand point and not a students

Mike Way is a knowledgeable professor who can deliver a good lecture. He can get a bit off topic at times but it wasn't much of a bother. One complaint is that he doesn't hand back homework in time for exams. However, if you read his notes on BB and watch his videos, tests are easy! His BB videos and notes are so well done that you dont need a book

He is one of the worst professors I have had in my business courses. He was accessible, and I attempted to go in to ask questions about the assignments. He was extremely rude, and was not helpful at all. After that I never again went to ask for his assistance.

He doesnt explain material well. Doesnt return homework or test on time, we got our feedback day before exam. Needs to teach material better, get side tracked frequently talking about things unrelated to the material. If you ask him to explain something for he will. Good guy but has a lot of room for improvement as professor. Txtbook use slightly.

Way is an alright professor, if you as for help he will help but he need to update his material and the way he teaches the course. He goes by the material way to fast and when he shows and example doesnt explain very well. Doesnt return HW or test in timely matter. He returned HW day before or day of exam. Better of learning for videos offer on BB

I highly recommend Dr. Way. He is a great professor. As long as you pay attention to his lectures and put an effort to do the homework assignments and study for qiuzes and tests you will be fine.

as far as online classes go this one was okay. I took him last year so I knew going in that I would not be receiving my homework in a timely fashion. He is very helpful if you call him during his office hours. His videos are very useful, and his tests don't really change year after year. Open-book/note tests are semi difficult Not an "Easy A" class

Lectures are sometimes boring. No need for a book -just buy the lecture notes from the print shop, but do need to buy a short Novel. Read the notes before the lecture, do the practice questions, ask for help if unclear abt anything. One 3-5 pg writing assignment based on the novel read. Took class online. Did not read the book, just watched modules online & took good notes. Hw assingments are mirror copies of the lecture. U can use all notes on the Exams. There are 2 exams. I got A's on both & got an A in the class. Great professor though! If u do ur work & study ur hw, u should do fine in the class. I recommend taking this class.

PROS: Very helpful homework response videos & full credit for homework just for attempting it. Also allows use of notes for exams. CONS: Would not receive homework response videos until (literally) hours before the exam, so would be unsure if done correctly until the very last minute. Supposedly grades generously, but personally did not see it.

He didnt do good to be honest. Even though it was his first time teaching this class, he still made it harder than what it ought to be. Class was fun at times. He would always get distracted to much by making the whole class watch videos from the internet of dumb things. Whatever. I hope I get at least a passing grade from his class though.

I took this class online, and was lost throughout the quarter. Unfortunately I failed the course, yet dr.way seemed to be helpful. My low rating on easiness is do to the fact that I am very bad with excel, and the book was a bit confusing. I believe that face to face teaching mode would have been better. Dr. Way seems to care about students and I would still recommend him. Just don't take ba301 if you're trying to save time or looking fir an easy grade.

He is a good professor. The class is somewhat difficult, especially online. You get full points on homework as long as you do it. His curve is generous. He gives feedback on all hw and tests. Tests are difficult and harder and longer than his study guides. So study more than you think you need to.
