By far the worst rudest unkind professor I have come across in my years at two universities. Just as others said he rambles and rambles. Does not reply to email and gives a personal email to certain students. Stay away!

I recommend you COMPLETELY avoid this professor. The worst professor I have ever encountered. He doesnt know how to grade when it comes to the position paper. He writes the most condescending and rudest comments on your paper making you feel stupid, looking at every detail saying you did everything wrong even if you go based of the guideline.

This professor is one of the worst professors I've had since community college. He basically just rambles the whole time and it's hard to keep track of what he's talking about. There are LOTS of reading assignments and the tests are pretty hard. Says his class is easy but we all know it ain't. I honestly would not take him if you have the choice.

Not the best geography professor here. Loses focus on what hes talking about and will ramble for most of the class if he has the choice. No iclicker but does take attendance for extra credit. Doesnt get you ready for your exams and leaves it more to the SIs to teach you the content.

He is hilarious, says things as they are, does not use blackboard, says "Whatever" many many times, take his test during class because if you go to the office to take the test they will lose your test. Rarely answers back e-mails, be open minded for everything. If you get offended really quick about politics, religion, avoid him. great teacher.

Worst professor I ever had. Showed flashes of a mad genius, but was just a waste of time. His lectures and readings would have nothing to do with his tests, it was bizarre. Me and 6 guys used to pool money some classes ($2 each) to see how many times he would say "By and large" and "for all intents and purposes." in 50 minutes, 10+ times

His lectures are amazinghe's hilarious! While he *strongly* recommends that you read both all his assigned readings and the textbook, I barely did either and got an A in the course. As long as you show up and take good notes, you'll do fine on the tests. The position paper is tricky, but if you give a decent effort and write well, he'll pass you.

As long as you come to class and listen, then you'll pass. I didn't read any of the book, never studied, and I ended up with a B. He gave extra credit for attendance because it annoyed him how few people showed up for lectures but attended test days.

I attended every class and a few SI, but struggled with this professor. He makes tests unnecessarily difficult. Every exam had a very low class average. He talks about curving grades but does not post any grades or update blackboard at all during the semester. No quizzes or homework to boost grade, 3 exams make up total overall grade at 33% each.

the most disappointing professor I've had yet. Great teaching structure (teaches history/politics, religion and geography by regions) and has no homework, straight notes and tests. However, he continuously goes off-topic is a horrible time manager. Also says tests will have a curve; but you'll never know your grade until the class ends. terrible!

Love this class, no homework, just 4 exams. The exams can be pretty tough, but he grades on a curve. Didn't know what to expect with a GRG class, but he makes it interesting. I love his lectures that cover every thing from regional geography and and relates it to religion, politics, history and world affairs. Very interesting class.

This professor is very knowledgable. His lectures are very interesting and encourages class participation and is open to everyone's opinion. Take notes during class and attend SI sessions! The professor holds a review lecture right before each test and basically tells you the specific things you need to know for the test. You need to attend class.

This class was not easy, but if you put in effort and study you will get an A. His tests can be hard, but if you go to the SI sessions and his office hours he will provide a very accurate review for the test. No homework, only tests. Each test is 25% of your grade. He is pretty funny and interesting to listen to! Must read textbook!!

This is one of the WORST professors I have ever taken in my entire college career. Very disorganized and doesn't post any grades so you have no idea how your doing in class because he says he will "curve" test. I wouldn't recommend this professor to my worst enemy. Test were over 100's of pages of articles and book chapters with little direction

This class is very beneficial for people who are interested in the history of the world but he tends to go off on tangents which is actually an enjoyable part of the class because he expresses all of his views. He has pretty dark sense of humor and will say "whatever" about one hundred times every class but overall this class was interesting.

Not a fun class at all. His lectures are somewhat interesting, but it was torture getting through this semester. Requires a position paper with all kinds of WEIRD guidelines and quirks (i.e. - 11pt font). Knowledgable and interesting, but not a class for me. Attendance required to do well on the test. Class averages around 60
