Nachiko Lee is currently my favorite teacher, extremely nice and understanding! The only difficulties I had in this class was the grammar points, but she explains everything thoroughly and makes sure to answer any questions. If you've learned Japanese prior to taking 180, you won't be allowed to stay.

One of the nicest teachers I've had. She is always willing to help and answers your questions as best she can. She is clear in her teaching method and does lots of group activities to help u understand the lessons. I highly recommend her.

Lee sen-sei is by far the best japanese teacher, she helps each student and provides plenty of group work to help drill in the lesson. Fair on the tests, just do the hw and be on time. amount of outside study wasnt a lot. Definitely take her over the other teachers.

Japanese is a tough language. I had to study at least an hour every day outside of class, and more some days. You have to turn in homework and won't be able to really converse...but that is Japanese. Mrs. Lee is a super nice lady, who really tries to keep you involved and you having a good time. I wish she taght other JPN classes at OCC!

I had already taken japanese in previous high school years, yet it was fun and interesting to learn it all over again with Lee sensei. Lots of interactive work, although she does not require class participation like Kagawa (thank god). She is really "Chill" but unfortunately DOES COLLECT HOMEWORK. GL HF #above

Lee-sensei did a very good job and made the class very fun! There was a lot of interactive assignments, though the chapter tests were a bit hard. The only downside is that she can be kind of confusing at times, but I found myself getting used to it. Dissapointed that she doesn't teach Japanese 2!

if u want to take jap180, definatly take mrs. lee. alittle bit clumsy at times but explains material very well. calls on students alot, so know whats going on in class. alot of groupwork, very nice lady
