More work than I expected for a 2 credit required course, but it is relevant information. READING THE BOOK THE NIGHT BEFORE HELPS IMMENSELY! That's the only thing that got me an A. Yeah, I know it sucks and it takes time, but you will do a lot better if you look through the book and memorize the answers from the online homeworks. Really nice guy!

Ford is easy and a nice guy, this is a business core so no avoiding it, I'd take him for sure! Don't have to go to class but you get attendance points. buy the book and do the WileyPlus. classes lectures are boring, tests are straight forward and easy. AB grade no problem!

Easy A. This class is incredibly straight-forward. Attend class and he will provide many opportunities for extra credit and participation points. The test questions come directly from the WileyPlus online application. A majority of your grade is simple online assignments. Great guy, easy class.

Go to class and pay attention. You get participation points too. The class is not extremely exciting, but Dr. Ford is a good man and he teaches it well. It's a class you have to take, and I recommend taking it with him.

Most boring class ever! He reads the slides and is so monotoned. The test are more over the book and are unnecessarily hard for a 2 hour required business major class. He also does participation by calling you out randomly in class to answer dumb, but pretty easy questions straight from the book so if you don't go to class it can screw you over

Oh my goodness, so boring. I went to 10 classes all semester and ended with a B. Just read textbook, do wiley assignments and you'll be fine. But...SO BORING!

The textbook is essential. READ! Class, less necessary, but do go at least occasionally - there will be random quizzes (5% of grade). He's a great man, but class time isn't very helpful so be sure to read and do the homework, that is key. 4 Tests, all Multiple Choice. Just read; give attention to terms, etc. The homework quizzes help you study.

Not too bad. You MUST read the book though! Too much emphasis and class time spent on the cases, especially when concepts covered on the tests weren't discussed. You have to go b/c class participation is a portion of your overall grade. Tests aren't bad if you read, and he curved them and took off the ?s most missed. Good & will bump you up at end

Attendance is not manditory but he calls on random people from the role and ask questions for participation pts. Also, throughout the yr there are pop quizzes. You can miss one and be ok but you do not need to miss many opportunties at all. Test are not that hard just a lot of terms and stuff from the slides and book. He is not too interesting

He teaches this class as if it were a 3hr. course. His tests are ridiculously hard for an intro class. They wouldn't be if he gave a study guide or put some emphasis on which concepts to focus on. You must go to class due to the fact that he asks in class questions. I came out with a B but I had to work for it. Avoid him if possible!

Very disappointing. Did not cover anything on the exams. You are responsible for studying the book. He has guest speakers so that he doesn't have to teach. You would be better off just buying a book if you are interested in IT.

Tests do not coincide with the lessons taught in class. Lets put it this way, I learned more from reading the book. Extremely displeased with the effort and enthusiasm in the classroom. An unfortunate waste of time for those interested in the subject.
