Mr. Weirich is a good teacher. Explanations may seem to drag on but he gets his point across. Doesn't use books and makes up his own notes with handouts for the class. I would recommend taking him if you're already good with math!

Nice man, but is an awful math teacher. Does not give homework, or use the book. Gives no help at all, he teaches using an overhead, which is a problem for me. He will not hesitate to fail you, and DOES NOT give any extra credit. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU'RE NOT GOOD AT MATH! Cant use a calculator either, if you're new to PSU and did not know that

He's a really nice guy. No homework and optional attendance. Don't skip though or you will fall behind. He gets the job done. Quizzes aren't too difficult. Some can be, but it's math. No one is going to like it.

ridiculous class. he has no idea what he is talking about. he rambles on and on with these examples that are easy and then gives you the test with a bunch of questions that are way more advanced. don't take him!!!

i love mr. weirich! he makes everything sooo easy. his explanations are a little bit long, but he always gets his point across. and he actually cares if you understand it or not. he'll spend as much time as you need on a problem until you get it. take him!!

Excellent teacher, very helpful. Will spend as much time on a problem as needed until the student understands it. Attendance not required but I wouldn't miss too many classes. Textbook is just for your personal review, no homework. Curved many of the quizes/tests if most of the class struggled. 1 Note: You will be doing probabilities!

Attendance not mandatory but extremely recommended! Text book is for personal help, no homework. A few tests and two quizzes each unit. Helpful but sometimes confusing. But always tries to make you understand even if it pushes him back. Very nice professor. He is willing to help - if you are wiling to learn. Good class, good person.

DON'T TAKE HIM!! His tests are nothing like he says they are. He teaches from the textbook, but makes up the questions on his quizzes and tests, and they are nothing like the problems gone over in class or the problems in the textbook. He acts like he is helpful but he's not. I have many more complaints, but not enough of space.

Nicest guy ever. Local middle school teacher-used to explaining things easily. He goes out of his way to help people and make sure you get a good grade. He'll meet with you and go over questions before tests and quizzes if you ask. Super nice guy and will go the extra mile if you're willing to try at all. I would take him again any day!

One of the best math teachers I've ever had. He takes time to work over problems and always answers your questions. All of the test material is gone over thoroughly in class and the notes he hands out are very helpful. He knows what he's doing and understands how to help a student who needs it. Very down to earth guy and isn't boring, like most.
