Nina is a really sweet person, but not a good professor. She won't correct your signs, and really doesn't teach you much. I know I'm going to struggle in 102 because Nina teaches us the same thing both days of the week so we never learn anything new hardly!

I didnt really know how I would do learning ASL. Although this teacher make the class super fun and interesting. She cares alot and wants you to learn! I had her for both ASL 101 & 102 and she was a joy to have as a teacher. if your taking ASL take her!! :)

Nina is an excellent teacher and a fine person. Having gone through a mainstream high school and then a deaf university, she sees all sides of the issues and as a result she is always helpful and understanding without being elitist, insular or condescending.
