Comment:
I really really like him as a person and is a fun guy, but as a teacher he's not that great. If you ask he is willing to work with you and help, but most of what he goes over on tests he doesn't even mention in class and there have been times where we go over some subjects after we've already had tests about them

Comment:
Just tests and pop quizzes. Is monotone, so beware if you tend to be tired in the morning. The text is only used for practice problems, but I'd recommend getting it anyway. The reading helps. Is a friendly guy and really willing to help, but his explanations leave most confused. Try not to miss lectures, but the attendance policy is lenient.

He rambles on and doesn't bother to make sure his students know what he is talking about. He flies through problems and equations without explaining how or why he is getting his numbers. If you can, avoid him at all costs.

He is very nice and will answer any question asked without making anyone feel stupid. It is a hard class, but if you attend every session, take notes, and ask questions when you don't understand something he is more than happy to help you.

He is quite possibly the worst teacher I've ever had. He appears to be unaware that his students are struggling and doesn't seem to care. When you ask a question, he makes it more complicated. Many of his students are afraid to even utter an answer, because he makes you feel stupid, if you get it wrong. If you can take anyone else, I would.

When he is teaching his class, he often rambles and goes off topic. It's annoying, but whatever. He also knows the material, but he doesn't exactly know how to put it into simple enough terms for his students to understand it. Also, he likes to give quizzes, tell you what's gonna be on it, then CHANGES HIS MIND. Avoid this class at all costs.

Professor Clampitt was a great teacher. He went over everything that was on the tests, there were no surprises. He even held extra study sessions before tests.

Knows his material, but doesn't retain the ability to get it across to his students. Despite being a horrible teacher, he hardly changes his test and quizzes so it would behoove you to get a hold of someone who already took his class. DONT BUY THE BOOK

Professor Clampitt is a cool guy, and an awesome teacher. He really cares about your grades and will spend hours with you to make sure you get the grades you want. He also really knows chemistry, and is interested in it. The only flaw he has is that he covers the material alittle fast for some people. His tests are pretty easy as were his quizzes.
