Hated public speaking before. Loved public speaking after this class. Professor Witte is a wonderful professor who understands and acknowledges the pressure college students are under. Takes that into consideration in what and when he assigns. If you're willing to take it and use it, he gives great feedback (Take advantage of it). He really cares.

Easy going guy for an easy class. Humorous and clear. Participate and you'll do fine. Always makes room to improve grades and provide extra credit. Take home quizzes, no exams, and final was a group project but I think now he is making it an option for class to vote on. Learn on own by reading textbook honestly.

He really encourages participation to talk about current events. He lets students pick their own topics that he must approve for papers, but they are easy and he usually enjoys anything anyone writes. The entire classes usually consist of current event chats and he grades easily, but makes everything interesting to students even if it is an 8 AM cl

Steve is a laid back guy. Participate and you will do well. it's not a read from the text class. He will bring in current events to talk about which keeps things interesting. Allows freedom for papers, you can even do a podcast or a presentation in lieu of a paper. A great guy with a great sense of humor and you will learn a lot.

I hate public speaking but this class wasn't bad. He likes to tape the speeches so you can watch how much you sucked, but he's a nice guy who tries to keep you interested. Not much work; extremely easy quizzes; not necessary to read the book. Tests aren't bad. Highly recommended.

He's very nice and helpful, you can tell he really likes teaching. You actually learn a lot in this class. Putting in average effort will get you at least a B. He's friendly and jokes around, class is not boring. Tests are a little tricky
