Comment:
Neogi has won an award for being the worst professor I've ever had. He begins each class by scribbling illegible formulas with no reference to what they are or mean. His grading criteria is are very unclear and I'm often unsure why I even lose points. His tests can be reasonably easy or incredibly hard, so you never know what to expect. AVOID HIM

Comment:
He may be easy for ethics, but Neogi is a nightmare for fluid flow. You get the sense that he is super smart and knows what he's doing but he cannot teach to save his life. Tests aren't particularly difficult but the grading is all out of whack. He curves the final. He can be nice if you talk to him outside of class.

Comment:
For the amount of time I've been at S&T, I have had very few teachers as bad as Neogi. Starting each lecture, he begins by just writing down equations or diagrams on the board, no explanation of concept, no reference to book chapter. Absolutely disorganized and very hard to follow. If you can, avoid classes with this professor.

Can be boring but his notes are gold. He does everything on the board which is good, but you have to go to class. You will learn finish the class feeling like you actually know something.

Easy class, tests sometimes were a little long. His hand writing was always a little hard for me to read. Everything is open note; go to the reveiw sessions he offers and you'll get an A.

Comment:
Partho is a mathematics wizard. Partho is a master of technology but can't seem to master Outlook or EXCEL. #Syllabus is comical. Isn't very helpful outside of class due to relationship with JC Wang.
