only reason i rated a 4 for easiness was because the course is only "easy" if you attend lecture!! tests and quizzes can be straight forward if u pay attentiona nd take good notes. the rest of the comments hit the nail on the head right on so i don't have much to add. great professor, tough grader so take him seriously!

He is so nice. The class is kinda hard if you don't pay attention and take notes but he is by far the best professor in the science department and easiest. He reminded me of the energizer bunny because he was always so happy and hyper even at 8 am!

I really liked Dr. Jivoff because he was always very enthusiastic and explained everything so well. He really challenged everyone to think outside of the box but also use common sense. His lab reports are hardcore and he is a tough grader, but his tests are straight forward from class notes. No textbook required.

Jivoff is OK. His tests ARE straight forward. However be careful bc if u mess up one test then ur screwed. There is NO other opportunity to make up points. He grades labs a lil silly. The class average was a C. OVERALL he is not bad. When compared to other science prof he is by far the coolest. Jus dont get cocky and take him seriously.

This class was awesome and Jivoff is the best professor I have ever had. He makes his lectures straight forward and you know exactly what is going to be on the test. I got nothing lower than an 85% on the tests. He is a tough grader on labs, but he is always willing to help you! I loved him! Plus you get to go on field trips to the beach for lab!!!

jivvy is awesome. he teaches evolution in bio 115 and he definitely knows how to get his points across and how to drill important things into your head. just like weber, his tests are hard unless you know how to manipulate this tricky strategies. overall, he's such a great person.

I absolutely love Dr. Jivoff. He is an awesome teacher. He is always full of energy and is so funny. If you go see him in his office he is always willing to help you. I highly recommend him, he's an awesome teacher.

Dr. Jivoff is a great teacher!! I whole-heartedly recommend him. He's funny, gives SO much energy in class even @ 8AM. He makes a traditionally challenging course enjoyable to be in & he is most of all easy to talk to w/as many questions or concerns you may have. Dr. Jivoff is a great professor. He really goes beyond the "calling" of a professor's responsibilities and wants his students to understand what they are doing. He is always willing to take time out of his schedule and help you. I would definitely recommend any classes with him.

Love Professor Jivoff!!! He is awesome!!! He makes bio interesting which is a really hard thing to do! He is funny too. He runs around the room calling on people by the wrong name, its funny. His tests are kind of hard though. Make sure you study and do extra credit!!!

His personality is one of the best. He will totally make fun of himself to get the point across. He does ask you questions to keep you on your toes. LOVES BLUE CRABS... One of the best that I have ever had. Having him next semester-- Love HIM---
