Comment:

Calc 2 is already so difficult, but taking Dr. Tyler made it 10x harder. Her tests are so ridiculously hard and she does not curve or drop tests under any circumstance, even if half the class is failing. DO NOT take her for any math unless you want to stress yourself out and make yourself sick.

Comment:

Dr Tyler is a sweet woman. She tries her best to engage everybody and make sure class is enjoyable. She dedicates time for her students if need be. Though, she is NOT good when it comes to grades. She gives up to 3 homeworks a week and its only worth 15%, as well as 4 tests. The final is 25%. The class average can be horrible and she won't curve.

Comment:

Professor Tyler does not grade well, homework and study guides are not anything related to the test. She skips steps on purpose for us to solve when we have no idea anyway. The class is useless and she doesnt teach at all. Do not take at all because you will flip out on her. Tests do not curve and is very harsh if you do bad.

She refuses to drop tests or curve the grade in any way despite the vast majority of both her classes failing. The overall grade is based only on homework, four tests, and the final. The homework is not worth nearly as much as it should be given the amount she assigns. She explicitly stated that she puts material on the test never taught in class.

Comment:

Amazing teacher, definitely tries her best to teach in a way that the individual students will understand. She wants to make sure everyone understands before moving forward. Great at explaining complex topics, and great overall teachers. I definitely recommend her, but make sure you ask questions and put in the work!

Tyler is good teacher. Assigns homework everyday. Doesn't take attendance but you will be behind if you skip. Office Hours are great, very helpful. 3 Tests and 1 Final.

Tests are extremely hard compared to everyone else taking calculus 3. Focuses more on theoretical questions rather than just calculations. And she can't draw. Better off reading textbook

Definitely not the best professor. I had a lot of stuff going on in my life and she didn't accommodate to it, so that I can meet with her for help. She wastes a lot of time at the beginning of class too, she's always talking about herself as if that's what I was paying for. If she didn't talk so much we would finish class earlier.

had her for honors calc3, as first semester freshman, its not hard, exams are not hard I always got like high 90s-100+ w/ bonus. (was sick during final, so that didnt go well). Class is NOT fast, it's actually slower than a regular clac class at a good university (I transfered). so if you actually ARE smart, you'll be fine.

Here's the thing people...DO THE HOMEWORKS. I had honors calc with Dr. T and if you want to do well, the homeoworks are where it's at. Then, for the final simply look at all of her previous tests and review the hwks...does anybody see a pattern here besdies me??? And o, if you're a hippy then you got it made baby.

An A-class hottie, I would marry her if given the chance but unfortunately I don't break up marriages, its not my thing. Tests are hard but doesn't stop me from loving her. If you have a problem with her or give her problems I will put you into a world of pain. And that's no lie. I am her faithful knight.
