Dr. Tobolowsky is one of the best professors at UNT. She knows what she is talking about, and she wants you to know what you're talking about. The people on here whining about how hard her class is are losers that no serious student should listen to anyway. This was the best class I've taken in my major, and it's 100% because of her.

The tests are hard. They are multiple choice with some short answers and essays thrown in. If you cannot answer the written questions completely she will still give you partial credit so be sure to answer something, even if you don't know the full answer. If you mess up on a test, go to her office hours and she will be more than willing to help.

Very hard test but, is very easygoing. She forces you evaluate every aspect of the Case Supplements she gives you. I enjoy her teaching style. I feel secure and confident that I will pass her test. I suggest you do the readings ahead of time to assure that you will be ready for class because she hits the lesson hard with or without you! I recommend

She is an amazing professor! There's no doubt that she knows her stuff, and you will learn alot in her class s. It's not easy and you have to study hard. There are 4 exams non are cumulative. She also puts the lectures &powerpoints on blackboard which helps when studying. Just study hard and read before class and you'll make a B or higher.

Very knowledgeable and helpful professor! She is amazing and probably one of the best professors I've taken at UNT. Her tests are tough, but if you come to class everyday and take good notes, there is no reason you shouldn't pass. I also never used the book. She repeatedly said her notes are your greatest study guide.

I went into this class close-minded and disinclined to study (or show up) and it hurt my grade, but as I became more familiar with the material, it grew on me a lot, and my grade has gone way up. Very clear instruction. The material can be dry, but the court cases are interesting. Go to class, take notes, read the court cases and you're golden.

Her tests are no laughing matter, and neither are her case analysis. You need to be dedicated to doing well in her class if you want to succeed. However, all that said, be prepared for "How to Succeed" lectures. I figured out my freshman year that if I don't study, I won't make good grades, but if you forget, she will remind you...lots.

She does not teach the course with any passion. She briefly goes over what is already written in the book, I don't need to pay $500/class to have someone read to me. Her tests are very hard. Many cases w/ hard to answer essay's.
