Rachel is an amazing teacher and really pushes you to do your best. I loved the projects in this class, and it's cool that she still challenges the people who are pretty skilled in art. I'll probably take as many different classes as she teaches. Plus, she cuts everyone's mats for them, which is a huge plus :)

Comment:

Rachel is a wonderful teacher and is definitely one of my favorites over the years. She cares about her students and allowed me to express myself in ways I never thought possible. I highly recommend you take her classes because she makes everything fun. Her personality is so positive and I would take every class of hers if I was an art major.

Rachel is an awesome art teacher, I really enjoyed her class a lot! she is very open with allowing each individual to express their own style, even if she doesn't like it. She appreciates detail, and recognizes effort. She is fun to be around in class, I wouldn't want to take an art class with any other teacher after taking her class! *** ;p 3

She's really funny and usually gives more time on some projects so students can finish them. You can also edit your project after you turn it in for more points. No exam but also no extra credit. She could've been more clear on instructions. You should be present for class unless you know nothing will be happening that day. You will miss out!

The projects really bought out my inner creativity. She seemed to really be into the students' art and liked to display it, which makes you feel like you've produced something worth while. I learned a lot about color and line and she was friendly and fair. Show up for class or you'll miss something important and it will affect your grade!

She gives great constructive criticism, talks about how to sell your art for real, very in tune with what different students need to progress in art, keeps a healthy and happy atmosphere. Comment:

Rachel is one of the most inspirational instructors I have had in a very long time. Art is not my forte and I was required to take 2D-Design by my major but she gave me the confidence I needed to do a good job in her class. If you need to take an art class at CNM, definitely sign up with Rachel. She is truly the "bomb dot com"! :)

Rachel is amazing. Sweet, funny, talkative, helpful and thoughtful. She does give out a lot of work and she is tough on grades and perfection but strives for you to put your all into your art, especially when she knows you can do it.

Corrected sentence: Her fund of knowledge and enthusiasm gets you through the uncertainties in trying something new. She is more lenient in the Studio class than higher levels. Ms. Popowcer is excellent. Her class is a great way to be reintroduced or introduced to various types of media. Her fund of knowledge ansenthusiasm you get through the uncertainties in trying something new. She is a very giving teacher. Make sure to attend and hand in all projects on time. Book ISBN 13: 978-0-7894-5151-4 is cheap and useful.

Rachel is a nice person, but I don't agree with her grading techniques. There was students who had already gone to previous art schools and then there were the few who had no previous art experience.However, I believe we were all graded on the same level.I also felt that she didn't actually teach! She just showed examples and the rest was up to you

She helped everyone in the class improve, even the seemingly "artsy" kids. what the **** do they know. anyway, she was quite demanding, yet chill to work around. Talks a lot. she'll even tell you that.
