Terrible teacher, don't explain things clearly, not easily accessible, don't use i-collage. I got a D in his class, which lowered my GPA, I re-took it with another teacher who was great and got an A+. He is not worth your time. Worst teacher I've even taken.

Professor Ry is a sweet individual bu I would not recommend for Pre-Calculus if you are not familiar with the course already. I came to class everyday and did all the homework but still could not manage to pass his test (but 1 with a 70 somthin). His teaching style is a little old fashion because he is a older man.

RUN!!!! he is boring, confusing,takes all day on explaining 1 problem. you will be teaching yourself. if u take him, do it online. his test and quizzes are confusing. u will make an a on test and quizzes if do the assigned problems he gives you from the book. he uses those problems on the quiz and test. Not a good professor. If you have the book with the c.d. you will learn more from that than him. He is HORRIBLE. What professional professor would even consider wearing flip flops and shorts to work? If you get him, good luck. If you get the opportunity run in the other direction.

In this class prepare to teach yourself. You will look at less than a paragraph of notes at home and realize you are completely unprepared to attempt the homework. Luckily there are a lot of helpful videos, but I could have saved 200$ and taken the course online and be learning just as much. It is the worst learning experience I have ever had.

This professor is absolutely horrible! He spends 20-30 min on 1 problem! So we only go over about 2 problems each class! He lecture more about life than math! His test are extremely hard! The re-test are harder than than the original! Nothing will prepare you for the test! He gets upset when you ask him a question.

I never came up here before to rate a professor but felt obligated to.He gets lost in his own lesson plans. TEST ARE EXTREMEY HARD, there is nothing that you can do to prepare for them either. Studyin HW and Text will not help because he makes up his "OWN" test. Makes false promises on make up test to help u pass but are harder than the original

Prof. Collins was very fair. He explained the problems clearly & the hw. He gave extra credit. Attendance is mandatory, this is math people, how r u not gonna be there for a class u paid for? I like him he is a non nonsense prof, i like how he has command of the class. so if ur not serious then it's ur ass. if u don't get it ask questions.

Wow, I had to drop him. I'm not sure if the time to teach wasn't enough (class was 1hr15) or what it was but it breezed through sections and moved forward without everyone truly understanding. The web assign was a total nightmare. If I had had better online support I may have stayed in his class.

the best math teacher that i have ever had in my life. i still haven't meet any teacher to compare to him yet. i love this man and i appreciate math now.
