Dr. Hershey is adorable. He makes the silliest remarks all the time and laughs at almost everything. The class was pretty fun. The only thing I did not like was all the Grammar Lessons we had to do. They do nothing towards your grade. Four essays, a final writing, and a portfolio grade.

He is so precious and hilarious! I definitley reccomend him as a professor. He is very helpful outside of class and is always nice. Always has a smile on his face and makes the class interesting. I wish I could take him for another class. He reminds me of a nice grandpa. Look for the Del Sol bag he always carries. Overall great professor!

He is the cutest man ever! He is so funny and makes the class enjoyable. He expects you to read everytime and will occasionally have small quizzes on the reading. There is one research paper and two essays. Takes attandance everyday. Make sure you study for the midterm and final, they will make or break your grade!

Great man! His class is so fun because he is hilarious which makes you want to go to his class! You do 2 essays and a research project as well as reading reviews and have quizzes on the readings. Overall not a hard class if you keep up with the reading!

Wonderful instuctor! I had absolutely no interest in American literature until I took this course. He is a wonderful lecturer, and manages to keep everyone's attention with his humor. I would recommend this class to everyone!

Professor Hershey is hysterical. He says the most random things that make you laugh. He gives more grades the some professors, and is clear on the assignments he gives. He discusses your essay grades with you, and tells you what you can improve on. He's really worth taking.

A very nice man. Doesn't grade too hard on papers. Tests are straight-forward. Only thing I didn't like was all the pointless group work and small assignments. I prefer class discussions and debates. You could do worse for an English prof, tho.
