Great class and great professor. He was always available in office hours to clarify his expectations apropos particulars of assignments, tests and ancillary projects. One of the initial college professors to adopt comprehensive use of the internet as a tool for teaching and as means for students to maintain and present their academic findings.

Tries to intimidate with the death stare but he's harmless. One of the few people to get an A in his class. Offers extra credit, his tests are tough because they deal with a lot of information & they are essay format.

this was by far one of the hardest classes i have ever taken. you have to do the reading, extra credit and pay attention for the random quiz hints he gives. you can miss as many classes as you want as long as you let him know why and email him before hand. the only way to get an A is to do every little piece of extra credit he gives out.

do all the extra credit. film reports and book reports are pretty easy to do and i really dont even think he reads them. you have to turn in everything online, no exceptions. you have to be extremely thorough on quizzes to get an A. midterms and final are impossilbe. 2 or 3 question and your supposed to fill up 1 or 2 bluebooks.lectures are boring!

he is a really nice guy and overall a good teacher. he is really funny, and you just have to include DETAILS and he loves you. all the notes are online and he tells you everything you need to know. you need to do book reports which are lame but they're easy and almost everyone gets an A. take him i loved his class.

Don't listen to anyone who gives him a bad rating. He is suprisingly funny and interesting and once you understand the way he grades his class is not hard. He loves details not general facts, so he may grade his first quiz pretty hard (C or D) but he gives many extra credit opportunities and he is a good teacher. Overall a good grade. TAKE HIM!

Run away! I didn't heed the warnings and I wish that I had. He isn't exactly a bad teacher, his lectures just leave something to be desired. Reading load is manageable but his quizzes are impossible. Gives extra credit so it is possible to get an 'A' but I still would avoid taking him if you value your sanity.

Absolutely aweful. Do not take at any cost. He expects you to have a large knowledge of computers. Has unhelpul lectures, massive amounts of confussing reading which he doesm't go over and is simply playing a power game.

i had to drop out of this class because the man just lectures and lectures. and he expects you to do book reports!!! also, be careful of his quiz prior to the first day of class. you can do extra credit but those take way too long!

Very sucky class. It's super boring and hes pretty much a jerk. In quizzes and assignments, the only way to get an A is if you tell him exactly what he told you, so pay attention to the lectures. Not too hard of a class, but there are much better teachers

He is pretty boring because you do the same thing every day and he is not very friendly(ask a dumb question like i did or you'll see what i mean), but it was an easy A if you do all the work.
