Comment:

Prof. Waller is a really nice prof. who really enjoys teaching. He does have a tendency to go off topic, but I really think its because of he's genuinely a friendly guy and likes to talk. We had a fun group project at the end and like 2 papers. If you show up to class, participate and chit chat every now and again, you'll find that hes pretty cool.

Some times goes off subject. Pretty easy work. Half the course switched to online with the pandemic which made the class really simple. Had to write 3 papers, 3-5 long, but still pretty easy. Would take again.

waller is a good professor however it was tough for me because I couldn't understand the papers I was falling his classs n I wanted to withdraw but i ended up showing him that I could pass his class even when he didn't believe in me I got a c I'm thankful that he was tough on me

His lectures are boring and he talked about his son all the time. However hes a nice teacher and a easy class to pass, only two tests throughout the semester and the hw are super easy and you have to write only one essay for the semester. Hes not a tough grader at all. This class is a easy A I would take him again

During lectures he always gets off topic its annoying but he does teach good. If youre terrible like me with English then I recommend prof. Waller. He gives tips and help with essays. He gives 2 essay assignments and everything else is on canvas.

He helped me with every essay by giving me pointers. hes easy to talk to if your having issues but you have to at least try. There are usually 2 essays and one VERY small research paper but he explains everything so well its a breeze.

Professor Waller is clear about what he wants. His class is not difficult at all. The tests were based off the short stories that he gave as homework and vocabulary and exempts you from final if you have an A. He is passionate about the final group project. Make sure you know MLA format for his essay.

Great prof. If you're looking for a good English class that isn't too difficult but you still learn this is your choice! I had Prof. Waller for an 8 AM and I thought I'd hate it but he actually made English fun. I'm lucky enough to have him for English 2 next semester!

Professor Waller is an amazing professor. He has you do 2 exemplification essays, a research paper. He explains very clearly how he wants you to write his paper. If you do it the way he wants then you will surely get an A in the course. He is not like the typical professor. He is very good and I highly suggest taking him. He is super chill

He's a great person, nice and genuine, but if your truly looking to learn I'd take another professor. Class lectures are mainly based around his personal life, and no, they arent funny or interesting, usually aggravating and time consuming, though you can tell he's just trying to bond with students. Easy A if you take time to study on your own.

Professor Waller is truly a great teacher!! He is very helpful and gives great feedback. He is encouraging and is willing to go above and beyond if you're having problems with your research paper; just meet with him during his office hours. Take this professor; you will not regret it. He will teach you the correct way to write any paper. Take him!

Professor Waller is a very good teacher. He tends to go off on tangents, but he's actually quite funny when he does. He is very willing to help and I would recommend taking his class. He's a stickler when it comes to parenthetical references for your research paper, so be careful.

Comment:

Tests are super easy all matching. He loves what he does and he's really helpful. Do the writing analysis assignments, it's not as hard as it sounds trust me you will get an A on all of them if you just do them and follow the directions. One research paper so not bad. I would take him again. He has a sense of humor. Expect a project at the end.
