I'll be very honest this class was very tedious and long ..... i had an 88.99% and he wouldn't even round my grade even if i begged. I took it in the summer for six weeks (three test and one final) .... be very aware he's not nice . It literally took everything on me to pass this class (you'll have to teach yourself).

I took class online and i am currently still in it. I just needed to rate this so that people can beware! He DOES NOT BUDGE with ANYTHING. it is a 4 hour class twice a week (Thursday and Sunday) as well as homework that have 40-50 questions that HE REFUSES to answer questions on. He makes you take tests while in a webex meeting and TALKS during....

Terrible Professor. During the COVID-19 pandemic all of my other professor were a lot more accommodating during this difficult time. He truly doesnt care about his students. Hes literally like 100 years old and has tenure. His homework and test are impossible and theyre timed. He literally didnt even address the class after the final.

Anyone who thinks this guy is hard must be severely retarded. NO HONOR LOCK thats all im going to say. Do the homework don't worry about lectures unless you want extra credit take the tests and thats it.

I have never been great at math, but this class was horrible. Goldwyn does not teach, he instead gives you a worksheet and makes you try to do it on your own. The only assignments are homework and tests that are closed book and closed note.

Avoid taking this teacher at all costs. Don't get me wrong he's a great guy but this class drained me. If I could go back I would choose another teacher. You have to teach yourself in this class.

you really need to teach yourself. 2 exams only have 5 questions each that you rarely get partial credits for and they really make or break your grade. avoid this professor at all costs he makes things harder and he isn't the best teacher.

You basically have to learn everything on your own. Only 3 exams, one including the final and they are graded very harshly. Wouldnt recommend this professor to anyone honestly.

I didn't watch any of his lectures online (they aren't the best) get ready to teach yourself the work. Although, the tests are very similar to the homework so if you get As on the HW you can pass. He responds to emails very quickly so if you have questions ask away. Make sure you don't miss deadlines and do all the hw with time.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! Consider this a friendly warning! He purposely makes this more difficult than it needs to be. I passed because I got a private tutor to do his job. Its a shame that he is getting paid for this.

He is the absolute most arrogant, unworthy professor I have ever had. He WILL NOT work with you at all! If you need to continue taking math classes after this one, do not take it with him because you will not have the proper knowledge to move on to the next level of math. Overall, worst professor of my college career.

I took his calc class online. You have to purchase an access code and all of the work is on math labs. The work is easy, homework is whats on the exams. But this man as a professor is trash. He only gives two hours on one day to complete exams, he does not work with you. Hes an arrogant a - hole when you email him. Good luck dealing with this man

Dr. Goldwyn knows how to provide the information you need, just listen to the lectures and go to tutoring, and you should be okay. He will possibly drop the lowest homework grades and one lowest exam grade.

I am a transient student from the University of Florida. I took his class completely online for the summer. He assigns one homework in between exams (max 60 problems) and his exams are exactly like the homework just different numbers. He is very sweet and reasonable. He responds fast to emails and is always willing to help. Learn the HW!

He doesn't really teach, he narrates powerpoints and points along (his pointer has an awful delay, which makes it even more challenging to follow along). I don't know how he is the director of the math learning center... Be ready to teach yourself. This class is a challenge. Its a shame that this is the only online MAC2233 section.
