This course was totally unlike any other I had taken previously at the graduate level, but while the participation level and attention to detail was high, I feel comfortable saying this was a worthwhile experience. Ron Vining provided a great atmosphere for collaboration between students and helped cultivate a rather ingenious educational setting.

Great teacher, speaker, advisor. Vining was a real mentor as his professional background was something I wanted to mirror and he helped me get there. Thank you! Glad to hear you are back in the corp world FT. Colleges need more profs like this guy.

Was thinking back to this course when I had a report and presentation I had to do for work. I nailed it thanks to Prof V. He was hard on us at 8am, but cause of him I can write and speak professionally today. Went back to Suffolk to say thank you, but heard he is running a company now.

Ron has a great sense of humor. He kind and always make sure you do your homework. He is very picky about making sure you do things right. He doesn't talk fast because he wants you to hear him clearly. If you have a speech on a day, just show because the worst thing you can do is not coming. Like others said, he is strict but fair.
