Oh, please, this guy is not useless by any stretch. A fantastic field instructor, more than adequate in the classroom. The material is challenging, and he does not spoon feed, but is very, very helpful if you take the time to visit during office hours. Maybe that's why he got that negative comment.

Comment:

Taught entirely better in the field than in lecture. The guy would sing and make animal noises all the time out in wetlands. If you pay attention, you can learn a lot. His TA, however, did a better job in the classroom than him. Required a lot of detailed information, but in accordance with a 400 level class. Great guy overall.

Totally **** and that's the least of his faults. Doesn't know how to teach or do research. Why this guy got tenure, I'll never know.
