Horrible teacher. I have never done so poorly in a class in my life. I sacrificed my grades in other classes to focus on this class and still ended up with a D by one point. I went to the tutor, had my friends help me and everything. This class killed my GPA, don't take it with her.

Great professor! Takes a bit to get used her requirements for explaining problems, but if you go to class and do your homework, good grades are easy. She often lets the class work through problems and find answers on our own, rather than being spoon-fed answers. Great class, great professor - you will learn a lot!!

Yes, she is tough and pushes you until you can come up with some sort of answer, but she will help you through it until you get on the right track. In the end her toughness helps because you actually have to learn the stuff and be able to explain it which you should be able to do anyways since this is a course for teachers.

never have done this bad in a class before. this teacher doesnt teach. she calls on you randomly to go up to the board and if you dont know how to do it she has someone else go up there. if no one knows how to do the problem she reassigns it for homework. i have been going to the tutor 3 times a week and am still failing.

Very hard grader.takes off huge amounts of points for the smallest things.teaches well, in a way you can understand. but that doesnt help if she is going 2 take a million points off 4 the smallest things. at the beginning of the year she told everyone it is normal for her 2 give out C's,D's, and F's as a final grade to her students. This teacher is awful! Warning.. DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. She doesnt explain any of the problems, gives hard exams, calls on you randomly untill you give her the answer, and is not helpful at all. Shes the worst teacher I have ever had at ISU.

I liked her. The class takes a little while to get used to but once you get the hang of it its no problem. Its pretty easy if you have a good grasp on the basic concepts of math. Overall, not a bad class.

She was absolutely horrible. I took this class with her and got a D then I retook it with another teacher and got an A without even trying. If you can avoid this teacher do it at all costs. She is horrible!!!!! And if you don't understand something she smiles because she thinks it's funny, I really think this woman is evil

I loved her, she made it very easty to transition for high school to college, she explained material VERY well, and was always willing to help, the Final was hard, but she is a great teacher, as well as a wonderful person!

She was a great math teacher- especially for students just coming into college for the first time. She taught me a great deal and was an inspiration. I would hope to be the teaher that she was to our class!

Only a couple students dropped, mainly because they didn't apply themselves. She is very clear and willing to help. Although she is retired, she was asked back to teach my class. I gave a 3 for easiness because of the material. She teaches well.
