Wow! I had Sarah in 2004 for WS250 Racism & Sexism in the Us (2003) more than 7 years ago -- and she helped me get into grad school, too (MFA for film 2009). She was a mentor then and is now a friend. Anyone who talks trash really needs her class, like previous poster said. WORD.

My opinion has mellowed since class ended. She is late for class, disorganized, somewhat ignorant to the feelings of students. BUT she challenged me to think & taught me things that still resonate. She provided a refreshing change from a typical class. I'm glad I took her course,even if it was frustrating at times. Don't miss out on her class.

She is, hands down, the single worst professor I've ever had. I took her at TCNJ. She would try to cram 3 hours of class into each 1.5 hour session, and we'd have to pay for it in homework. Attacks anyone who disagrees with her. Always late. You need to devote 100% of your academic efforts to her class for an entire semester to get an A. Awful

Yes, she is like Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde. However, well informed and clear on what she expects. Class discussions will answer your questions. Sometimes disorganized, but she admits it. I'm a guy, she's not a man hater

Yes! She is often late, but overrall is a very good prof. Some people in the class are just stuck in the past and can't take change. She is fair with the ammount of work she gives, adn this is college so get use to it.
