I don't usually leave reviews on professors, but after my experience in this class I felt compelled to. If you rarely go to class & find it easy to self teach yourself accounting, have at it. However, if you actually need a teacher who can thoughtfully convey information to you, do not, and I can not stress this enough, do NOT take this class.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Avoid him at all costs. Can't believe this is the only teacher offered at Duquesne for Cost Accounting. This class sucks and so does he. Get ready to teach yourself everything and have him grade you wrong if you do not do it the exact way he wants it.

Lectures are unclear if you don't pay attention constantly. Nice guy, but not great at helping you understand the material. Definitely read the chapters and do the homework problems outside of class.

He is a good person. His test are way to long for the time given to do the tests. He gives good study guides before the tests, and most information on the test is on the study guide.

Hard to understand, rough lectures, really weird grading scale. Hard to access outside of class, and treats every question like you should have known it already.

Insanely hard to understand. If you don't sit in the first row you will not hear him. Is very condescending to students. You will most likely teach yourself and the tests are nothing like the reviews. If you are good at accounting it will be an easy A but you'll feel like you didn't really learn anything.

His class is mandatory, but you don't really need to pay attention. The material is not very c complicated. His exams don't really reflect his practice problems. The multiple choice was hard - for that read his notes. otherwise you don't really need it. He's a nice guy and wants to help, he is just hard to understand sometimes

He doesn't talk much about theories behind calculations, but his lecture will clearly tell you how to apply all those accounting rules to particular problems.

He really isn't that bad of a professor. Yes, it is difficult to understand him, but if you put the time into the class you should be able to get the material. His exams are not difficult at all, just go over the study guide. He has solutions to the problems he does in class online which makes it even easier to study. Just put effort in.

Incredibly boring. Hard to understand his accent. He makes mistakes on the board during his lectures and students consistently correct him. The only good thing is, he goes at such a slow pace that the class turns out to be very easy. If you actually want to learn accounting, do not take him. If you just want a passing grade, he isn't a bad option.

Worst. Teacher. Ever. Very hard to understand and I doubt even he understands what he is doing. He will read off answers rather than actually explain how to do problems. I learned absolutely nothing, definitely the worst accounting professor to take. He became very arrogant when everyone failed a test claiming it was our fault.

Worst professor I have ever had. Tests are impossible unless you have devoted your life to this class, his lectures are hard to understand and all he does it practice problems with minimal questions. Doesn't respect students. Once said to the class after we all failed an exam and questioned an answer, "I know what I am doing, you are wrong."

His tests honestly aren't bad. Memorize the study guide with minimal understanding of the subject, and you will do well. But his classes are painful. The guy is impossible to understand, and is unaware that nobody in the class pays attention or respects him as a professor.

Do not take him. Attendance is mandatory, the class is painful to sit through. English is very bad and the lessons are confusing. No homework or quizzes to boost grade, only 4 exams including a final. Exam questions are confusing and not clear, even if you study a lot.

DON'T TAKE HIM! DON'T! unless you're naturally good at accounting you will sit there confused out of your mind. He literally can'y pronounce a single word, is no help, and actually is a little condescending. There's only like 3 grades so if you do bad on one thing you do bad for the whole semester pretty much. You'll end up teaching yourself/crying

I barely went to class because you cannot understand anything he says. Memorize the 31 page review sheet before the test and you will pass.
