Warsi is an ok professor. If you go to class, do the HW and rework the HW before tests you will do well on tests. He takes probably half the tests from HW problems and the other half are very similar to the HW. I had an A average before the final and expect to make an A in the class. I would take him again.

Very funny, ok guy, however I am pretty strong at math, i did well on the homework and failed most of the tests...I went back and found that he threw in little common things that trip people up on the test. (i compared the test to the hw problems to find this) Watch out, it was harder than it needed to be.

Doesn't actually teach anything.Skips rapidly.You come to class he puts problems on the board & you do them.If you don't get it go to tutoring.He expects you to know everything like he does & when you ask a question he says "Why do you ask?Its right in front of you."then puts the problem up quickly without explaining how or why he got his answer.

I struggled to understand the man and did poorly on every test, but he curves very high and I passed because of it. If you struggle with math take him show up everyday and you will pass on the curve if needed.

I really liked this class. 5 tests and a final but you get to drop the lowest grade. Test problems come from homework. He did go really fast through lectures and takes shortcuts expecting you to know what he did but if you ask for help he's pretty good about helping out. I didn't like when he started on the next section before the test though.

Do not take if you are over-sensitive. He is very sarcastic and can be flat-out rude! Let that roll off, ask questions and do your homework over and over and OVER again! Most test questions came from it-besides with math, practice makes perfect! Don't get discouraged and drop early, just practice!

Warsi is not the worst professor I've ever had, but he's not the best. He is absolutely brilliant, but I think that's the problem: He's too brilliant to be teaching a lower level math class. His tests come from the homework, so do the homework and go to class and you should pass.

Stay away from this Prof. He does not clearly explain any of the concepts, and gets an attitude when you ask questions. He grades super hard, with no partial credit. His middle-eastern accent doesn't make things any better either. Unless your a math-freak, BEWARE!!!

Beware of this guy! His lectures are long and boring, though he tries to be funny. On the plus side, he does curve you grade by at least one letter. BTW, who ever gave him a chilli pepper for being hot is truly disturbed in the head.

Be sure to do your homework before the test the test comes from homework questions. The material is hard but he curves A LOT at the end. The first test is really easy be sure you do well on it. But dont worry, I should have failed but he gave me a C.

He is a good teacher. He acts like he doesn't care about how you do on your test, but he really does, and he will curve almost everybody's grade by one letter. I really had a C, and he ended up giving me an A. just do the math problems and it is a very easy class. Don't ask stupid questions or you will likely be humiliated.

If you do the homework and make sure you study all the problems for the test then you should do fine. He makes the tests from all the problems that you do in class and for homework. There is no confusion on how your grade is calculated so you should know what you need to make on each test in order to maintain a certain grade.
