Comment:

MGF1106: This class is easy to pass if you understand high school math. For someone that struggles with math, I suggest reading and taking notes from the textbook. Professor Wagner is there for you if you need and the information is easy to understand. Near the midterm, there were extra attempts added to past quizzes to help with preparation.

Comment:

Its classified as a lecture based class but most of the work was online. She didnt even call herself a teacher, but a tutor. Wasnt very helpful when I had questions and I didnt feel like coming half the time, and that I did my work better at home.

Great teacher! she taught me little tricks that made math way more efficient and faster. She helps students all the time if they need help and was really nice.

Comment:

Professor Wagner is great. She is very sweet & wants to see everyone pass. She was usually good at responding to emails but the course was a tad bit unorganized in the beginning. This course was difficult but still easier than college algebra. Quizzes for each lesson & exams almost every two weeks. Read the textbook & do all the practice!

Comment:

Great teacher, she knows a lot of shortcuts in math and will teach you them. The class was very easy and she lectures and does homework questions at the same time throughout the class. There is one full day used to review for the test and then the next class is the test. Overall good teacher and would take her again.

Comment:

I took her class online during the fall semester. It felt like her class was faster than an express class. She assigns so many assignments every week regardless of exams. I only suggest to take her only if you know this material already and if you are only taking one class that semester. She doesn't use mymathlab. I would NOT take her class again.

Comment:

Does not know how to teach. She goes over the material way too quickly and when you ask for help she doesnt buy direct you on how to get that answer she just gives you the answer. Doesnt go through examples thoroughly, she just expects you to know everything beforehand. The midterm and final exam are the majority of your grade. Do not recommend.

Comment:

The only reason I don't like her is because on the mid-term and final you don't get a formula sheet. You have to memorize all the formulas which is easy if you are coming straight out of high school but if you took a couple years off and took this professor you will fail. She is easy going but she is pushy. Only take her if you're good at math.

She was easy to talk to, accessible, and helpful in and out of the class room and through email. She posts all her lecture work on difficult problems and is very understanding if a student needs their quiz results reviewed or more time to finish an assignment. She recognized that I am not adapt at math, but I was putting in my best effort.

I took the summer course and it has its advantages. Her regular classes have a midterm and final but the summer didn't have a midterm. Her homework is a must do, you will need the practice to master the class. Quizzes and test and like the homework. She gives breaks and extends due dates. Also love her in class lessons vs online or textbook.

I wouldn't take a class with her again. She didn't lecture a lot, just helped us through the homework in class. I could've done the same thing at home. It's nice to do the homework in class if you have questions, but she told us we could leave if we had the homework done. Easy A if you do the homework. Tests and quizzes are open note, final is not.

Ms. Wagner does not care if you are late to class. She is not strict on attendance. If you have to leave early she doesn't mark you down. She is really nice. Class used mymathlab but she is super good at explaining the math problems! Very clear and helpful.

Prof Wagner was a GREAT online Professor. She ALWAYS responded back to emails timely; if you question why a problem was wrong, & can prove that your answer could be right as well, she WILL change your grade in your favor. I had many personal & work trips come up during this course and Prof Wagner was VERY understanding/flexible! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Despite positive reviews, I had a very negative experience with her. I ended falling behind due to health issues and I had contacted her about it since I was starting to fall behind. She offered me no chance of making up my missing work and told me to "just withdraw" from her class. Honestly it was very discouraging and shocked of her indifference.

Professor Wagner is VERY responsive! She gives you all of the resources you need for your class, & if she sees you are struggling, she will have a tutor contact you! Very cool! Questions are answered immediately, & there is no 'wondering' what to do. Everything is spelled out for you in her course syllabus/content. I highly recommend this Prof!

She was an angel. She let me take the first test even after I missed the due date. The mid-term and final are super easy. Wagner is also hella sweet and will help you even if you don't ask. I've never been good at math and it's my worst subject, but I passed this class with a high B. I'm taking her again for College Algebra.

Comment:

Professor Wagner is very nice but I do not recommend her as a teacher. I emailed her multiple times and she never answered. Additionally, she has power point lessons that do not give enough information to do the assignments. I basically taught myself most of the material covered in this course. You have to work extremely hard to get an A.

Comment:

At first, the class was easy to understand if you read the notes. As we progressed in the level of difficulty, neither the lectures, nor the notes helped with understanding the homework. The only positive aspect of the class was that we had multiple attempts at quizzes. Also, don't expect a response to your emails without giving her about 4-6 days.
