She is AMAZING! Take her class in summer if you can. She's a bit eccentric, so be prepared. She makes the class fun and enjoyable. Many field trips that turn into assignments, but it's ok, b/c you WILL WANT to do them! I can't say anything but AWESOME! She's the saving grace of the RIC faculty. Wish more were like her!

If you can take the class in the summer. She is amazing. She actually makes you want to write. The best part about the assignments is that they aren't that long. She also lets you pick whatever topic that you want. The best reason to take it over the summer is you get to go on field trips She cancelled class one day to send us all to the beach!

I love her. very few assignments. 2 med. length essays and a few 1-1.5 page essays. make your essays crazy/weird cuz shes crazy and she'll love you. however instead of going over how to properly format an essay, she assumed we already knew how to, so she took off points for things like headers & footers. lots of fun fieldtrips + her sons a rapper.

i cant believe people are complaing that she cancels class from time to time and lets u leave early! i got an A in get class and didnt do shizzle. make your papers have a little comedy in them and she'll love you cuz shes a wacky person. we went to a movie went out to eat (the whole class that is...) i had a blast. shes cool

we met twice a week once, then she decided that she couldnt handle so many students so we had class once a week. we also had class in Donovan and you get extra credit for just showing up to class. PS: she's a little out of her mind.

Such a waste of time. She never shows up on time, leaves and takes half hour breaks, has nothing for the class to do....awful teacher. A profound ability to handle boredom is required before taking her class! that and be capable of listening to bullsh*t! Do NOT take this teacher

Come on, the woman couldn't even explain how to use parenthetical citations. Not to mention that she never followed the syllabus, always showed up late, took a half hour break, and let our four hour class out in no more than 2 hours.
