He is a great professor. He explains the material in great detail, and genuinely cares about students understanding what he is teaching. He welcomes you to come to office hours and to ask him questions. His quizzes and projects are difficult, but if you attend class everyday and do the readings you will be successful.

Had him for an honors course about extraterrestrial life called Are We Alone?. He's very cool and helpful. What I love most about him is that he is very passionate about the subject! Not an easy grader tho but if you work hard enough, it'll be fine.

dr.t is really cool and really loves astronomy, he wrote the textbook we used for class and it was actually pretty interesting. his teaching type is very hands on, and there is really no lecture, so if you're a good hands on learner this is definitely the class for you! also go to the study sessions!

Great teacher! Physics is a hard class, but Timberlake covers it and covers it well. If you don't understand, you can stop by his office and he'll explain it to you until you get it. Responds to emails quick. Tests were rough, a little harder than what's taught in class, but boosted by padding in the homework and OQ grades. Great teacher!!!

Dr. T is very good about making you feel like you are NOT an idiot if you don't know squat about science. his class is a lot of fun, even if you don't have a clue about what's going on. the only problem is if you are in a group that can go a lot faster than you can, so yr left behind in the dust, not really understanding what's going on.
