Literally the worst class I have ever taken. I really regret taking her class. It was overwhelming from day one. It became even more difficult and stressful because of the whole COVID-19 situation. If you are considering taking her, even if there is no other professor with a class at the same time, do NOT take her. Just don't. You will regret it.

If I could give Professor Glover a 0/5 I would. She is very unprofessional, disrespectful, and lazy. She will take forever to give you feedback on your paper and when she does she expects you to not ask questions about it and figure it out on your own. She is very disrespectful, and uses profanity often. Please BEWARE and DO NOT take her class.

Shes a very nice, sweet lady. I learned nothing from this class. She was confusing, unorganized and all over the place. She makes you rewrites essays and outlines until you get it to her standards. Because she had us rewrite our outlines it pushed us way behind what she had on her syllabus, she piled so much work on us.

This teacher has no business in teaching business. She is a nice lady, but her ego trumps it. She describes herself as the queenshe should try the professor. I learned absolutely nothing in this class and dont recommend this teacher for anything. Its a waste of your time and a disservice to your learning to sit through the nonsense.

Quizzes/Test based off of book, which I almost never used and still passed. She takes FOREVER to grade and give feedback. She was a bit unorganized which forced me to do more work than I needed to.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!! This class is overhwhelming with loads of work. She forces you to rewrite essays until you get it perfectly done. It is completely unrealistic and her lectures are irrelevant. My class started with 30 students and ended with 7 students. That tells you everything.

I took Glover's EN102 class years ago, and I'm sad to say that it was a big mistake. I don't like the stigma of "community college classes should be easy A's.", but her class was extremely difficult and even at a much higher level, I feel like her methods are a no-go for so many students. I'm sad to recommend that you avoid a class with her.

I really wanted to like this class. The teacher seemed interesting and sassy, but her lectures are pointless and unhelpful, and she has overwhelming opinions and you are forced to write from her point of view. I'm succeeding because I can handle a heavy workload, but with no help from her. She also lacks organization :/

I'm actually surprised at how good the ratings are here. My entire class didn't seem to enjoy her and neither did I, though I can understand why; there is so much learning potential and I can see she has a passionate drive to perfect her students, but the way she goes about it does not help me at all. Maybe she and I are just not meant to be.

She is the best. I took her for the fall semester. she gives a lot of extra credit. she makes sure that you write like an editor of the newspaper. when you finish the class, you would not be afraid of any type of paper or the number of pages to writes. In her class, you would write until you fall in love with writing. MUST TAKE.

I like critical and hard graders, but this is ridiculous. While Glover is a nice woman, she would be more suited to teach graduate students. Also wants you to completely parrot her views on every single paper, and restricts you to topics that interest her. Take EN102 with Van C. Wall or Deborah Taylor. No spoonfeeding, just write what you want.

My experience with this teacher was NOT good! I found her to be extremely rude, her standards as a Community College EN102 professor were of a Harvard Doctorate English class. The papers we wrote were only about politics. She is a very hard teacher and I would recommend avoiding her if possible!
