Comment:
Horrible, should never teach a person about econ. Spends every day coming 5 minutes late, then 10 minutes on why he was late, and rambles on irrelevant topics until the last 5 minutes of class where he actually does a problem. Also, does the same problem every single day. Does not prepare you at all for the test. Uninspiring and boring.

Very old school, doesn't answer emails quickly or use powerpoint with his lectures he just makes it up on the spot. He is very boring and uninspiring and the only professor to ever bore me to sleep. I highly suggest taking someone else if you want to learn, but tucks class is passable

Comment:
Does not help prepare for the exam, because he prepares the exam the day before its supposed to be. Questions on the exam are random and he does not take into consideration the amount of class time we have for the exam. A 60+ question test in a 50 minute class? On top of that he comes in 5 minutes late and spends 10 minutes explaining his lateness.

i liked the class. tests were easy and i really liked his politics too, but i understand not everyone will, haha. his class skews off into conversation about econ policy and tangential points but i enjoyed it. however, i understand most students just want to cover course material. also, he's super available for office hours if you need extra help.

He doesn't stay on topic. He often will get off on a tangent and spend 20-30 of the 50 minutes wasting your time. He starts the class by outlining what notes he plans on doing that class, which will take about 10 minutes, then never get to most of those notes. Also gives a lot of homework and I taught myself everything from the book. Don't take him

Decent guy but not that good of a professor. You'll definitely have to do a lot of learning on your own. I took notes for every exam on the chapters and read over the practice problems he gives for homework and I did pretty well on the exams. He wasn't bad but he wasn't good. He sometimes gets off topic but overall he was okay.

The only reason I did well in this class is solely because I took microeconomics before. This guy did not teach me a single thing. I learned everything by reading the book and going on YouTube since he spends the entire class ranting about unemployment, his political work, or stuff that simply has no relevance to the class. Pretty rude too.

So he is not a terrible person but he isn't a great "teacher". He gets side tracked easily. You will need to read the book and teach yourself. He shows up late but expects you to come to class everyday. I will say I did not like his class but if you want someone who is easy on the grading and curves everything he's the teacher for you.

Tucker is a funny guy. He is not great at teaching. He gets sidetracked a lot but when he does explain material, he does it in a good way. He also favors male students, considering the fact that my guy friend who did no work got a better grade than me and my friend who did well on every assignment and worked very hard in that class.

Taylor is an interesting man. He is a nice guy but is awful at teaching. He often gets sidetracked while lecturing and will talk about unemployment instead. This is a teach it yourself class. With that being said, if you read and understand the book material, his test are fairly easy.

Do not take. DO NOT take. I have barely learned anything and what I have retained is from countless nights teaching MYSELF. Says himself that after 40 years of teaching he is still uncertain of what he is teaching. His lectures are dry and not pertaining to anything you are currently learning. Constantly late to class and never emails hw on time.

DO NOT TAKE TUCKER, TAYLOR WHATEVER HE LIKES TO BE CALLED. He's not always availalbe for office hours when he should be. He doesn't follow the chapter readings, doesn't follow the homeworks and is super unclear about what's going to be on the exam. If you like teaching yourself material, go ahead and take him, but he is terrible. I give him a zero.

Well. Where to begin. JT or "Uncle Tuck" as he likes to call himself, has his fair share of stories to tell. All his previous experiences in a job have been i government. So he's big on policy change, and won't let you leave without knowing it. Get to the point, JT. HOWEVER, he is fair, diplomatic, andwill answer questions you bring to class.

He assigns a 25 question homework basically before every class. He removes all the content before every exam so make sure you keep your papers. Overall would not recommend taking his class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE OR TUCKER TAYLOR. I'm not questioning the mans intelligence because he is a smart guy, but his ways of teaching are a joke to say the least. Though I have only had him for a few weeks, I can easily say that his class has not taught me a single thing yet. Along with that, you are assigned multiple homeworks every night.

Pros: Grades on a curve Cons: Class was very unorganized and we ended up wasting a lot of time. Constant political rants (extremely left wing) that rarely had any relation to the subject matter. I got a good grade but I didn't learn very much and would not take this course again.

Didn't really like the guy but didn't feel compelled to write this until starting my most recent assignment due tomorrow. It's 30 problems online and just about every one has multiple questions. Way to much work and his lectures are very boring with very to little notes. I'm convinced his students would have a 5% pass rate without the curve.
