Comment:

Avoid taking this class with Prof Dean. He has a weird way of grading things and his feedback never makes any sense. Also, the class is just one big group project. And if get stuck with a terrible partner like I did, he doesn't care. When I tried to talk about it, he basically blew me off and said imagine how hard groups of 3 would be.

Dean is a nice guy and really wants you to enjoy the class, but its hard to. He just reads the powerpoint he posts online and it can really put you to sleep. The projects can be time intensive, so be prepared to do some work for your A, but it's manageable.

Comment:

Is a good professor for Digital storytelling. Just has you make videos. Assignments and class is based on what the students want.He is quirky. If you need a gen ed fine arts class req, I would take this one.

Mr. Dean is a nice guy, and his class is easy as long as you read some of the book. As long as you go to most of the classes, you'll do fine on the tests. His teaching style is easy to get used to.

A. Dean is one of the worst intructors I had at MWC. The ENTIRE class failed a test except for ONE student, and he refused to offer a curve or a retake. Obviously, he administered a bad exam but refused to take the blame for it.

Mr Dean has a very different and unique way of teaching. He likes to use powerpoint to re-emphasize the teachings, but he's not one where he will make you sit down and just lecture.
