Comment:

The Women and Gender Studies class online was one of the worst classes ever. One of the worst teacher to respond to emails. She is not clear on what she wants done for any of the assignments, and now we are on our final paper and she has not graded anything since September so no one in the class knows where we stand. Interesting class, bad teacher.

I was in awe of her in lecture. She definitely knows her stuff. Discussion Prep questions can be tedious--you have to write at least a page single spaced for every class. It requires alot of work but if you're serious about English and Lit then I recommend her.

There is a lot of busy work in her class, but it actually FORCES you do to the work. If you want a class that's easy, take someone else, but if you want to learn about American Literature, take her. The discussions were always interesting, especially if you have a couple of English majors. Beware her laughing at her own jokes!

The Absolutely worse teacher at USC. She has you do a zine which is completely stupid with all your papers. Every paper has to be related to the each other and about USC. Very Very hard grader. Ruined my GPA and I wanted to shoot myself becuase of her. Scared me away from English.

her discussion prep questions will drive you crazy. pointless and a waste of time. just busy work. she knows what she is talking about and allows others to produce ideas within the class. take her if you don't mind tons of busy work. other than that, she is open to helping her students.

Don't take this woman. If your idea is not not the same as hers, beware-she will eat you alive. The daily assignments are a real pain. Ruined my GPA on this class. Has a know-it-all attitude and plays favorites. Much better Eng profs out there!!

DO NOT TAKE HER..too many assignments-too little time with a busy sched. She is not clear at all..she says 1 thing in class, then something totally diff. the next. There are 4 papers, but a new draft is due each class. Absolutely the worst teacher this semester..made my college life miserable. ugh!

Don't take! You can find much easier Eng101 teachers. You only have 4 papers but you have to have a new draft every day. A lot of busy work and the worst topics for papers! Her laugh is annoying... can't ask questions unless you go to her office. My worst class ever!

Professor Hudock's class is NOT for English majors. She assigns daily busy work and covers the material in her lectures with virtually no depth. Though I was very interesting in the material we covered, I learn almost nothing.

She is an AWFUL professor. She would tell you to ask her any questions and when you did she would shoot you down and make you feel bad. She only gives busy work . Only 4 papers, but they have to revolve around a zine which YOU have to pay for copies for every single student in the class. Don't take!

If you have a full schedule her daily homework is not going to make your life easy. The daily assignments are helpful but it involved a lot more time than I could afford. Plus the collage assignment was kind of cheesy. We are in college, right?

She is a great teacher and she truly cares about her students. The daily writings are frustrating but they really help. I definitely recommend her.
