Nice guy but textbook example of how to go off syllabus in a bad way. Example: It's Thursday, assignment is due next week. The problem is that everybody is confused by the assignment and he has to elaborate on Tuesday... I can't believe he is going to teach HRTM's sustainability and ecotourism in the Spring.

Did not help at all, no book needed save your money! Be prepared to write, honestly better if you take it online if you can, I went in person and it was a waste of time, had to email him several times repeatedly and still never got a response. If your looking for a core class just take him and get it over with.

He's nice and a fairly easy grader, but IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with after classes. Also very disorganized--will tell you to submit a paper by a certain time on SA but then never post the link...Also, he doesn't answer e-mails, EVER, tries really hard to be funny & goes off on tangents 99.8% of the time.

He is a really nice guy and he is very enthusiastic about the subject he teaches. He makes the class very interesting and he uses visual aids to explain his points. He gives alot of work but will give you an extension if you ask. If you do your work and participate in class he will likely give you a very good grade. I really recommend him!!!!

Cool guy but a little out there. Honestly he's the best prof for Core 3. He's very understanding and he makes the class interesting. As long as you show up and complete the assignments you'll pass. He's also not into giving tests which is a plus! And you can make it through the class w/out any of the books.

he's clueless w/lots of writing and reading assignments/easy. he's an online course which is a plus but don't expect him to return an email, he's nowhere to be found. when there is class, he confuses himself. take this time to negotiate assignments and extra credit. I got an A but spent the whole summer semester with no life b/c of assignments. :(

Nice guy, decently easy grader, although he does expect quite a bit of participation on his public discussion board, which takes a lot of time. I'm not sure anyone could have made Cross Cultural Perspectives truly interesting, but I thought he did an ok job at it. Does go off on tangents sometimes. Overall, I've had better, and I've had MUCH worse.

Good luck finding him. The head of the department sent a letter to his house and didn't respond back.

Had this guy in High school. He's a very nice guy but does get off topic in some(most) instances. He's an easy grader aslong as you show up to class and act even slightly interested. He showed us 'Goodburger' in class, what more needs to be said.

Not a bad teacher, means well. A "newer-age constructivist" style of teacher, meaning the class changes and adapts as you go on. He tends to get on tangents, and talk about things like Ohio and Elvis, but he doesn't mean any harm. Fair grader too. I'd take him again.
