She is very very very nice, it's just a shame that she's teaching a class that no one cares about. The class is easy, but there are easier sections for Research and Info. Skills.

Easiest class ever. We usually have a quiz ever class but they were all extra credit. I have a 52 out of 50 in the class.. take this professor if you have to take the research and info class.

The class is very boring but a GPA booster. We go over things everyone already knows such as how to to look up information on the internet on and search for website credibility. Barbara Adams is a very nice person though and tries to help us any way she can.

She acts like this class is the most important class ever. She's really nice but she is very outdated on her thinking. For example, she put up a picture of a dictionary on the board and asked us if we knew what it was. She thought we never used a dictionary before. I kid you not.

Comment:

Very nice lady, always willing to help you. More than half of the class is stuff people know i.e. Google, so it gets very boring. But she tries hard, at least, and cares a lot about teaching. Assignments are dumb but easy- do them, try to listen, and try to participate, and you'll do just fine. So overall I recommend getting her class, if you can.

This was the first year she had to teach vista and although she tried she had very little clue what she was doing or what was going on. Regardless she grades pretty fairly and will most likely let you fix things if you contact her

Barbara Adams is a good teacher, teaching a horrible class. She did go over the topics before the quizes, and was always willing to help. So if you have to take info skills, take Adams.

A very good teacher, though she taught a class that I thought was a complete waste of time. I was able to get the SAM tutorials done during her little lectures though, so it was a very easy class. Always asked if there were any questions and was more than willing to answer them too.
