Professor Lipscomb is an amazing teacher! He is by far my favorite teacher at Houghton College. I almost considered becoming a Philosophy Major just to take more of his classes!

Probably the best professor at Houghton College. He and his wife were my London Honours professors, and they were wonderful. Extremely intelligent, intentional about the way he teaches and lives his life, simply a fantastic teacher. Demands a lot from students, but is never discouraging.

Lipscomb's class can be a little tough because of his homework structure, but he makes philosophy very interesting and his tests are a breeze

demanding, but in a way that will challenge you to succeed at a higher level, not to discourage your efforts. a truly geniune man of god - a wonderful example of christ-like humility from the most intelligent professor i have studied under at the college.

Very nice man but very difficult grader. I love how we sing at the beginning of every class but i don't like how he prints out speeches that he pretty much reads in class. He gives you many opportunities to succeed in a variety of forms.
