Comment:

I took this class fast track for summer. It was super difficult especially with the class being online due to Covid. She had video lectures but I felt sometimes she didnt post the videos on time enough for us to do the homework. Homework was super difficult and didnt make sense and she only offered 2 meetings when people clearly were struggling.

Comment:

She is tough, mean, and yet a sweetheart. Her homework policy of writing out the definitions for all the vocabulary words is tedious but helps in the learning process. She gives extra credit and genuinely wants you to pass her class. I loved her.

All homework was assigned online. If I had done all her extra credit I would have gotten an A, so I regret not doing it. If you can take another professor it would probably make your life easier but if you must take her course: Do the online homework, do the extra credit, show up to class, participate, and..... good luck on the tests.

Professor Bandzak is strict quite alright but she has good intentions. Econ is a challenging subject and in order to get a good grade you need to be locked in all the way, its one of the most challenging subjects in my opinion. Prof. Bandzak knows that very well and so she tries to make students sit up if you know what i mean cos thats the only way

Very rude I tried to enroll in to her class and she was disrespectful. On top of that she was 10 min late to class. She was scolding all the kids who came in late on their first day. She treated us as if we were kids no respect at all. I was surprised that Chaffey allowed her to treat students this way I hope they are able to make a change.

By far Chaffey's worst! Will not allow anyone to speak or even asks questions. When she does she will always say, "a quick question" then goes back to talking about revelant and a lot of irrevelant topics. Super rude and condescending. Rolls her eyes whenever asking her anything in private.

Comment:

Unfair grader wasnt an option but that describes this professor perfectly. Do not expect her to be nice, polite, understanding or fair. She grades on participation mostly. Shell ding you for using the restroom, marks you late after one minute and marks you absent if you leave early. Lectures are painful and pointless. Avoid this one!!!

Tests are 80% of grade, 2 midterms + final. Lecture heavy meaning she will talk for the whole class but her lecture is after the assignments/quizzes. She only allows a quick question and the majority of the time she will never give a straight answer. Aways refers you to handout/syllabus. Late at 1min and no bathroom use or leaving early allowed!

Okay. I'm not going to say this was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but it was incredibly difficult. I have never gotten a C in my life and I wasn't going to let this class conquer me (I didn't). The class is definitely lecture-heavy and you better be ready to read. If you aren't willing to put in the work, don't even try.

I was very fortunate enough to have Professor Bandzak as one of my very first professors. She is very kind and has very strict but helpful learning methods. Obviously she loves what she does as a professor, be ready to walk into the class ready to learn. You cannot slack on any of the work throughout the semester because every point counts.

Although she is an immensely strict professor, she is not a mean professor nor is she unfair. I learned more in her class because of her being strict and pushing homework so much. For anyone that doesn't mind a strict professor, she is excellent to learn economics from.

This is by far the worst teacher Ive ever had. She doesnt care to explain anything when you ask a question shes very rude and if you mess up your extra credit even a little she wont give credit .

Indeed, it is not an easy class, you stay up until the very end, and there is a lot of homework, but you will leave her classroom will more knowledge than you went in with. She is very knowledgeable in her field and plays by the rules. There are extra credit opportunities from the beginning of the semester up until the end.

Worst teacher I ever had. You have to be on time and if you are like even 1 second she wont take your assignments. Gives a lot of homework online. Lectures are terrible, she talks a lot about herself, always keeps us after class time, her lectures are useless and all the learning comes from reading online. If possible dont take her class

This class costs me around 150$, then the Textbook costs around 320$. This is by far the most expensive class I have ever taken at Chaffey, and I am counting art classes in this. I get heavily penalized for being sick one day, no make ups or partial credit for late work. Horrible integrated on line program. 5 credits worth of HW in a 3 unit class.

Mrs. Bandzak is by far the worst professor I've ever had. I was pretty good at Econ but she treated me (and the rest of the class) like trash. For every question you ask she will respond to you like you are stupid. She is extremely rude and expresses favoritism. I would highly recommend avoiding taking her class.

Grades you more on how well you follow her homework rules. Talks a lot about herself & does not give you a lot of time to ask questions. Gives WAY to many handouts & it gets way to confusing. Her homework is ridiculous, Macro with her and Micro with another and she gave tons more homework. Study guides were worthless, She is very condescending.

Assigns more homework than all my other classes combined. It's a 3 unit class but give about 5 units worth of homework.
