Bernard is the MAN! He is very helpful and his lessons are well thought out and easy to follow. He`ll answer any question and make sure you actually understand it. He assigns homework, but they aren't turned in. Bernard loves what he does and wants his students to do well. He also contributed in writing a Calc book, so you get a free text book!

Bernard is easily the best math teacher I have ever had. I unfortunately did not finish with a good grade in his class but I have to say that it was all my fault. My advice for future students of his is to DO THE HOMEWORK. Seriously. It's optional, but still, DO IT.

Outstanding teacher! Teaches calc 1,2&3. I would highly recommend taking every calc class with him if possible/fits your requirements. Math major here, loved clarity and effort to make calc easier to learn. Calc is hard, simple as that, but Bernard is your best bet to learn material as well as possible, and to get a good grade. He just wrote a new Calc book, which is WAY better than the one I used in HS. Good use of the board. Easy going, entertaining in class. Uses algebra/trig basics to teach harder calculus material, which makes material easier to understand. Definitely do the homework, even though it's not required.Very approachable and easily accessible.Great teacher
